I would just replace the chain but the chain itself is so pretty I haven't. The pendant is beautiful. You need to make sure you have no lotion on to get a hold of the fastener.

I ordered this necklace as a retirement gift for my girlfriend. I was pleasantly surprised when it came and I loved the fact that it had the compass on it with that meaning. It had a beautiful, sturdy chain also. My friends loves the necklace. would definitely reorder.

I am immensely pleased with the Celtic design. In addition, the weight of the pendant is just right. The only thing I have a problem with is the lobster clasp. It is teeny-tiny. It takes several tries to hook or unhook it. I will probably use a different chain for this pendant.
