Fantastic knife for a lot of jobs.
I ordered this knife with another D.H. Russell-Grohmann knife and I am very pleased with it. The quality is extremely fine with it's flat ground blade. At first I was put off by the sheath with its latch till I reamed out the hole a might and used gun stock wax on the sheath. I also finished the handle with the wax for a nice finish that has a better feel then the lacquered ones you get at a discount store.I bought this as a kit as I wanted to assemble it myself. Attaching the rivets was easy with the use of a vise. Pounding them in with a hammer means you will miss just once and damage the wood handle. The picture you see with this review is not the same as my knife as mine is a Survival Knife and the sheath is better than what is in the picture.

Finally!!!
I have wanted this knife for as long as I can remember (and that is a REALLY long time.) I finally broke down and bought it. now I am mad at myself for waiting so long. beautiful, strong, and tough as a cob. can't beat it.
