This star is absolutely beautiful and despite what some reviews say, it is incredibly easy to assemble. Seriously took me less than a few minutes. Now, I haven't actually used it long enough to determine if it does indeed deserve a 5 star rating, but once I have, I'll update my review. I am hanging it in a window with a Christmas 3 wise men display which I'll eventually add a pic for you to see the product.

The media could not be loaded. This is a cool idea, a unique star with multiple functions. When you take it out of the box you are unimpressed, it feels cheap and poorly made, my wife even smirked at it but I believed in it and continued to assemble it, once it took shape I knew I made the right choice. It turned out to be a bright star like nobody in our family has seen, now i need to acquire more for people. I wish it came with a longer cord and multiple cable functions like plug it in to a usb port, multiple light colors, modes, brightness and flash and a remote or app. The light needs to be more stably mounted and versatile mounting. Maybe version 2?

The 12 inch star was perfect for my 7 foot tree. It was easy to put together and look beautiful when lit.

You have to assemble everything. The instructions are poor, the parts are small and cheaply made. The connectors were too long and contacted the bulb on all sides; that would blow a bulb in no time. If you trim the connectors so there are none touching the bulb, it falls apart. The electric card is poorly designed and will not seat well because of the design of the "special point" that holds bulb socket. This construction is overall a stupid idea. I would rather have a cheap styrofoam ball than this piece of junk. It's definitely not worth $30. Maybe $3 would be all right.

Easy to assemble, beautiful! The only concern is I wish it was a cooler white light, but that's ok!

This was cleverly photographed to hide how obnoxiously visible the seams & rivets are, but it was an easy 5min fix with 6ft of garland & a glue gun (see photos). I love it now! I’m just sorry I accidentally ordered bright fluorescent white. Eew. People complain that it’s made of plastic. I ask you, what did they expect it to be made of, angel feathers?? Once assembled, it’s very sturdy & solid. Some also complained about assembly. A chimp could assemble these blindfolded. If you can’t do it, just take your millennial rear end to your parent’s and let Generation X handle this for you too. 1 star off for the ugly seams and 1 more for the intentionally misleading photos.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. They're so easy to assemble that a monkey can do it. What's nice about them is that they can be disassembled to store and then re-assembled when you want to put it up. Some reviews said that it isn't an LED bulb but it sure is, as an incandescent bulb would generate too much heat, and these being an LED bulb don't generate any heat at all. I changed the clear bulb in this with a blue one to match the blue LED lights that I string around the tree. I also dyed all the separate pieces to match the ornaments as you can see in the pic. It does have a polarized 2 prong plug so you won't be able to plug it into the tree lights so I just ran a green cord up the tree that I had. Hope this helps.

Not great it's cheap plastic that "snaps" together but since it's flimsy it's hard to complete.

I bought the 12" LED star. It came packaged well with clear instructions on assembly, however, the instructions tell you to install the larger spikes before the smaller spikes. I found this to be a PITA because once the larger spikes are on, you don't have leverage or grip to snap the smaller spikes in and it's painful trying to do it. Pushing it against a table or your gut doesn't work -- because then all of the spike start popping back off.I recommend you work your way around it from one side to the other... installing the large AND small at the same time until it's complete (leaving the center for the light of course). It's also wise to figure out which side of the star you will see most so that the holes in the spikes are facing away from your view.I installed this on my 8' slim Christmas tree using the straw and two zip-ties (I believe it came with 1 straw and 5 or 6 zip ties). If you're doing the same, you''ll need more rigidity to hold it up, so I used a chopstick and then wrapped a tree branch around the monstrosity to cover it up and it's completely hidden. Don't shake your tree though, as it's not very stable, but it's beautiful!My preference is to not plug the star in as you can see the plastic frame through it at every angle, although it's not horrible. When turned off, it looks like a solid white star. When turned on, it looks like it's somewhat transparent and cheap. Up to you. The colour of the LED white is a warm white, but definitely a cooler white than the mini LED lights on my xmas tree. Not a terrible match, but the star is brighter.If you're planning on hanging this up by the wire, you have nothing to worry about.The quality of the plastic is great as it's not bendable plastic. The star frame and the spikes are heavy duty white plastic. The cable is short, so you will need an extension cord -- no matter where you're installing this. For that, I took off 1 star. I would buy again, but the hack to install it on a tree is less than desirable. Hope I can reuse the zip ties next yr by not removing them from the tree.

Me gusto la estrella mucho y realmente quiero conservarla. Sin embargo, se apaga. Ya vi que hace falso contacto. Tengo que apretar el foco con la extensión que viene incluída. Si me pudieran dar una solución a esto. Enviarme otra extensión donde conectar el foco para que no se apague sería genial. Gracias.
