Possible damage in transit or at the warehouse?
The bulb on the left is the old bulb that had failed. The one on the right,was one of the two that I purchased, failed immediately. As I ordered two bulbs, I fitted the other one and it works perfectly. Thank goodness I ordered two bulbs, I did intend to have one as a spareHave not had any reply or replacement

Not an exact replacement on a Jeep
I bought this to replace a front indicator bulb on my 2008 Jeep Patriot - it was supposed to be a direct replacement but the bulb supplied has a tiny plastic lug which wasn't on the car's original bulb and stopped it fitting into the socket. I've only deducted one point because the little lug was dead easy to trim off with a set of cutters, and then it worked perfectly.
