Yes I could have gotten this at WalMart but because I was ordering so many bags of battings I ordered this. It works, it has more puckers from being folded than I like, but it is a quilt. A little heat flattend out the puckers well. I have used this before in very heavily used quilts, it stands up well if you can secure the foldover portion well. If your quilt goes just a little further than your batting and your backing wont catch the stitches you need to hand tack it. Just sayin, as I had one hurry up project and I had to redo it after washing the first time.

I like Mountain Mist batting but was disappointed with this one labeled as a mid loft. It didn’t seem any thicker than the thinner low loft batting I had ordered in the past. It would have taken 2 packages to get the loft I was looking for when I bought this. It was easy to quilt but I could see the backing material through the needle marks. I won’t be ordering this again and wouldn’t recommend this.
