RubiesMonster High Jinafire Long Costume

This was a nice, fairly quality costume, which tends to be a safe bet with Rubies costumes. My 6-year-old daughter is obsessed with Monster High, and this was a steal, so I surprised her with it as a Halloween costume. She wasn't sure what she wanted to dress up as, and we hadn't really seen any Monster High costumes around, so I was taking my chances she'd love it, and she did! She's sort of in-between sizes. Normally wears between a 6-7/8 in girls' clothes, but she has long legs so smaller sizes seem to be a little too "high" to be appropriate looking. We went with the medium, which was a good choice....not too short, and not huge either. Instead of just the plain fishnets, I had her layer bright green tights underneath them, so it had a really cool "dragon-like" effect, like scales. She wore it to a party, and Trick or Treating (which was a workout) and she was comfortable AND the costume stood up to all the fun.

My little girl decided last minute that she did not want to be a vampire anymore and instead wanted to be a monster high ghoul. Found the Jinafire on Amazon and figured I had nothing to lose since it's only $7 so I went ahead and ordered it last Wednesday (29 Oct). On a whim decided to order the wig too. Wasn't sure it would get here on time but It got here today! To my surprise, this turned out to be an awesome costume. Well made, vibrant colors and it came with the fishnet stockings, the tail and the belt. Ordered a medium for my 60 lb. 6 year old and it fits her well, there's some room to grow and hits below her knees. So glad I did not size up like some suggested because it would have been too big. The wig is a must buy, by the way. It completes the ensemble. Looking forward to trick or treating with my very pleased little Jinafire tonight :) Thanks Amazon for a very fast delivery!

This costume is made better than most, and isn't as cheaply made as some that I have bought in the past. My 7 year old wore it three times during the Halloween season, and it has held up very well. She's a size 8 and the medium fit perfectly.

Fit my 6 year old well! We ordered a medium to be sure and it was a bit long, but it looked very nice and she loved it!

The costume is cute, right to the size and survived a day in the zoo, in school and Halloween night and still looks great. The only problem is the belt. The beads part fell off almost at the end of the first day wearing. I attached it back and did not survived much more because of the belt material.

Bought this for my grandaughter, she absolutely loves it. Money well spent..

Not bad, quality same as regular costume, look same as picture. It will be better if the tights and sleeve color can be golden instead Of dirty yellow. I bought size M, it fits my 8 yr old girl.

The sizing was smaller than I expected, but we will make do. Also, the headband isn't secured to the wig (if you order the wig separately). The yellow leggings tear easily (when my daughter wore her boots, they wore away at the top, leaving holes.
