Ernest, the Moose Who Doesn't Fit

This is a very cute book. The fold-out is darling. Kids LOVE this book!

Never disappointed by Catherine's children's books...this is a fun one...I have nearly all of her books....the kids that come to visit love getting books from my Children's book collection bookcases....and her books are often the first books they pull out. Great stories...Great Illustrations!! She creates books children love!!! Kids love being read these books and reading them to their younger siblings....and adults like myself enjoy reading them! Kids ages 3-12 in my family love them....

Ernest is unhappy because he's too large to fit into the book. Sweet illustrations - I love his antlers. He and his friend the chipmunk try everything then they have an idea. See the picture for the surprise. My grandkids can't wait for this page every time. What a happy moose!

I thought this book showed a nice imagination. I looked at the pages and only saw parts of the moose. I was curious as to why. The reason for the duck tape and scraps of paper came as a surprise to me. I think it's a great teaching book for kids to see determination accomplishes.

Loved the storyline and the illustrations are wonderful. However, there was more handwriting​ in the book that I expected.

I use this book with my preschoolers, and then we tape together our own pieces of paper for a moose cutout to fit on. They love it!

A cute book with a clever gimmick. My first graders loved it when we read it. I did a nifty art lesson with them afterwards.

Wonderful. Really fun simple story! Beautifully illustrated, just be careful with eager little ones and the fold out page at the end or else the page really WILL be held together with cellotape!

Absolutely wonderful for 2-yr-olds even though pull-out section. They want to read it every night and it makes us all laugh.
