Great look!

These bamboo plant saucers are perfect for pots of any color. They prevent spillage of water and extra soil when you accidentally overwater your plants. The saucers are also long lasting I have had them for more than a year and I am happy to say that these will last me many years which is my goal.

The photo accurately shows that the edges are smooth, concave, and that the whole surface is semi-gloss varnished. Like any protective coating of this type, it will not resist the water forever, so even between waterings I periodically pick up the plant and wipe the saucer and pot bottom of accumulated condensation. I do not use this bamboo product as the only saucer for a pot with drainage holes. I use pots that already have impervious saucers-- even they produce enough condensation that I want this bamboo saucer between plant and furniture. I water the plant over the sink and wipe the bottom of the pot before placing it back into the bamboo saucer.Not a long time, but the saucer is still lovely after six weeks under a banana plant that needs constant watering. I will update this review if anything happens that changes my opinion. In the meantime I have been looking for smaller saucers and none of the other brands seem to have been coated or had the edges sanded: look carefully at the photos of similar products.

The plant saucers appear to be well made and a quality product. The only thing I would change is to increase the edge on the saucer a little bit to prevent spillover from watering.

The saucers are nicely made: They are thick, properly sanded, and well-coated. One shortcoming is the uneven coating with some round indentations (about an inch [2-3 cm] in diameter) that resemble traces left by a sanding tool. If something like does not bother you these saucers are well worth buying.

I actually ordered this, and use one of the two, as a candle tray, to hold 3 pillar candles, and it works great for this. The other one I'll probably use as a plant saucer. They're quite beautiful, seem well made and sturdy, with a very nice wood grain.

I don’t know why they have stars for sheerness these are not supposed to be sheer? I love them and have purchased them twice. I would purchase larger sizes but are too expensive.

They look great but they split and get moldy.
