What could be better than combining chocolate and coffee? Add bourbon-barrel-aged coffee beans! Chef Chris Teixeira from West Town Bakery has teamed up with Dark Matter Coffee, to create three chocolate bars made with bourbon-barrel-aged coffee. The chocolate bars differ in cocoa concentrations, 35, 41, & 64 percent. (There are two milk chocolate, 35 & 41 percent, while the 64 percent is a bittersweet chocolate bar.) West Town Bakery is located opened in 2011 in Chicago earning numerous awards and accolades since its inception. James Beard nominated chef, Chris Teixeira, along with chocolatier Ian Regino have collaborated with acclaimed roaster, Dark Matter Coffee, to create a truly special chocolate experience.
