Wife got some SOL REPUBLIC head phones and she loved them except for the fact they didn't have a cable included. (open box item) Knowing that she was in distress I quickly jumped on my magic box where I find solutions and I found these cables on a quick amazon search. They were fairly priced compared to the other options and these had a cool volume control/remote on the wiring.Got these fast: ordered Sunday got them Monday. All button functions work! The headphones work with this cable they were a perfect fit. A bit snug getting the 2 smaller plugs inside but that's good you don't risk them unplugging themselves

I bought two of these, both failed on the same side shortly after using but replacements were sent immediately and hassle free. The replacements have been working great so far so perhaps a QC issue with the first order who knows. They sound great!

A cheap alternative to the name brand cables. They work fine, however, the microphone doesn't work well. On a Skype call, the other person could hardly hear me above the feedback. Other than that, I like them.EDIT 3/28/2019They're finally dead after 3 years of constant use. I was never able to get the microphone to work, but I still got a lot of mileage out of them.

Cat chewed cord again. This is my second cable and I didn't hesitate to replace the damaged one with the exact same thing. I love this cable and its features, and the quality for the price. My Sols love it too.

I really would love these, but mine stopped working right within 2 months. Now, they are literally useless. You cannot use them for listening to anything unless you stand absolutely motionless. If you move, the song skips, music will start playing abruptly, etc.If the company would replace my faulty wires I would gladly revise the review. Until then, I really would not recommend getting them. You'll be getting another pair soon, so you might as well just spring for something more expensive but more consistent.I wish there was a way to request a replacement without having to do a review!

This cable replaced the original cable on my son's Sol Republic headphones. He has been using it for the last 60 days and has had no problems. I would recommend this product as a quality replacement cable.

The cable worked fine for the initial few months. However, eventually the music experience was destroyed by the fact that this cable has to stay still for the sound to work properly. Every time the audio jack moves a little bit, the sound gets disrupted. I'd suggest investing in a better, more expensive product. Now I'm back in the market looking for a new cable.

Well this item is completely useless to me. I have a pair of helmet headphones that I was hoping to used this for, but was unaware that the jacks are different size. I guess the sol or whatever stupid brand this is used smaller jacks, so the normal auxiliary jack you’re used to has been made micro sized to fit there specific brand. That was a waste of money.
