Annie Natural Boar Bristle Hard Wave Brush #2060

I have very thick, curly hair. I have a tendency to break hair brushes and combs. I thought I would like to try a boar brush, for the softness. I first tried a soft-bristle version of a different brand, but my hair proved impervious. The quality and comfort were nice, so I kept it and use it for my five-year-old son.Next, I tried this. It is quite a bit more substantial than the soft-bristle brush. It proved equal to the job of making it through the mat growing on the melon on top of my neck. It isn't quite as comfortable as the soft brush, and can be a bit scratchy on my scalp, but I still find it to have superior comfort to all the plastic brushes I've been using so far.All in all, recommended.

Not a good hard brush for coarse hair wavers, bristles are not hard enough and will move out of place with enough force from brushing

I love this brush and it's just what I needed for my thick hair to get my slick ponytail the way I want it,the bristle are really hard the brush is easy to hold,I like the size of the brush as well

Very durable, content with purchase, fast shipping. Only issue I have is that it feels like it just glides over your hair instead of getting down to your scalp.
