So happy to find one without Sorbitan monostearate
I've spent hours trying to find yeast so I can make my own bread since almost all yeasts have sorbitan monostearate and its just not worth the hives. I love this stuff. i use it in my bread maker and haven't had hives since.

Yeast uses - use once a month to prevent stopped up toilets
We have a septic tank and I pour 1 packet of yeast into my toilet, once a month, flush once and leave everything alone overnight. It works as good or better than RID and costs way less. Works just the same and the tank doesn't need cleaned/pumped as often. Hopefully this is worded right! 🙃

Red star is the best.!
If you want a rise in your breads then Red Star is what you use. I make breads and Red Star has never failed me. The growth rate in my breads are unbelievable. I can’t say much about the shelf life because it’s usually not there for too long before I have used it. If you bake and you need yeast then try Red Star. You won’t be disappointed.
