It is just a cockpit cover. Heavy duty waterproof canvas material, strong bungie (?) cord around the edge. Size 1.2 fits perfectly on my Prijon Seayak. Seals makes good stuff!

I used the seal sizing chart for my kayak and the cover size it recommended was the perfect fit. Heavy duty cover, great construction. Not sure what the center removable adjustable strap is for? But other than that excellent buy.

This cockpit cover will definitely protect your cockpit from the elements. It's very sturdy and thick, and it's easy to put on.

Fits very snug and secure, and keeps out water perfectly. Getting it on takes a little practice but it's easy when you get the hang of it. I traveled 5hrs each way on a recent trip with my 'yak on the roof and it stayed on fine. It would be secure even without the extra webbing strap, I think. On my trip I had to moor my boat between two sunken trees at night. The cover kept rain out and also gave me peace of mind in case of a boat passing with a big wake. The materials seem to be high quality and I expect the seal rim and other materials will hold up for some time.
