Can-Am New OEM LinQ Heavy-Duty Basket, 715001215

I use the basket to carry small tools, parts, lunch boxes, small thermos bottles, and items used on the ranch for fencing and irrigation and to keep select items handy when out trail riding or hunting. I have attached a Kolpin gear carrier for my long guns or bow, shovels, etc. when hunting or irrigating. Buyer needs to be sure the basket fits their particular model ATV equipped with the LinQ system. The basket fit perfectly on my 2018 CanAm Outlander 650 XT ATV with the G2 platform.

This basket serves all my needs and purposes!

Installed in minutes. A little bit smaller than I thought. But should work out fine. A plus quality!

The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying this is my favorite ATV accessory ever. The basket itself fits perfectly in my Lynn queue system on my Can-Am 850 outlander. It’s heavy duty and well designed and is used for countless things. My imagination is my only limit. It has a super cool flat matte finish. And my particular bike it can go on the front or the back and can be moved in just seconds. The reason I deducted a star was not because of the quality of the basket, but because of the lack of instructions from Can-Am. It was extremely difficult to figure out exactly how to install this and I had to watch several YouTube videos and piece together different things from each one in order to get this installed correctly. The instructions do guide you to a website, but the instructions on the website are very vague. The deeper I dug the more I found out I was not alone in my frustration. All that being said, it’s still one of the best investments I’ve made in an accessory for my ATV and the friends I’ve shown so far all want to get one as well after seeing it. I couldn’t be happier.

Very easy to install. People have said CanAm instructions are hard to read or decipher. Not true. Go to the website they provide, put your model # in and you got it. LOOK AT THE PICTURES and it’s easy. PowerSports Monkey answered a couple of application questions accurately. I recommend the product for my application as well as PoweSports Monkey.

For some reason the linq mounting holes on the basket didn't line up with the mounts on the ATV. The distance between the sides was correct but the holes on the basket were turned out maybe 1/8 of an inch making it impossible to insert the linq locks.

The instructions were terrible. Good instructions could fit on one page but can am makes you go to their website to get the instructions, which only a dealer can download. The instructions you can see are very small scale and I couldn't figure out how to enlarge them or print them without a dealer downloading them. I ordered my basket for the front and it fits perfect, however, the clamps that came with the package appears to be designed for the back installation and won't work on the front. How do I get the right clamps?
