Darice 5209-05 Tubular Decorative Wedding Arch, 72-Inch, White

Worth every penny!!! I was extremely nervous in purchasing this item since it has such an impact during the wedding ceremony. I mean, it is what everyone is going to see during my big day so I wanted to make sure it didn't look cheap or tacky. It came earlier than expected and came together fast and easy. I decorated it in artificial silk rose flowered vines which I also purchased from amazon and it looks amazing!!! Not fully finished yet but I'm over the moon already. The lighted net that goes across were all working. the best part is that when one goes out, the rest stay lit. So if this happens it won't be noticeable. I plan to make stand for the feet as others did because it can be wobbly if using indoors. It is 8ft tall and I found that taking the feet off which makes it 6ft helps stabilize the arch works too. My fiance is tall so I am keeping it at the original height. The best way to assemble this is to first make sure wherever you are setting it up it 8ft or higher (first mistake when putting this baby together). Also, keeping it on its side to place the lighted net on is the easiest way to even out the lights on both sides (second mistake as I had to then take them back off because one side hung lower than the other and looked goofy). All in all a terrific purchase since it can be reusable and much cheaper to purchase then rent from a store. For this diy bride, I am very happy to find good deals for my wedding day that doesn't break the bank.

This arch made an excellent Christmas decoration at our condo. Until we got the arch, we had no way to get an electric line to a small section of front lawn without crossing a sidewalk, and that would not have been safe because this is a multiple-unit building. So we got the arch, draped an outdoor extension cord over it, and then were able to put Christmas lights on the front lawn. It is not the sturdiest thing in the world, but for use a couple of weeks during the holidays, it was just fine. It was easy to assemble, although putting the included net lights on the arch was a bit tedious. As for storage, we simply walked it into the garage and left it standing against the wall, ready to go next Christmas. The price was reasonable, and having it delivered to our front door made life so much easier. It was also absolutely beautiful!

For a wedding:This arch is easy to put together and looks nice. It comes with light netting which is a very nice bonus. Yes, the arch is slightly unstable and probably won't be a good choice if you have a lot of decor or are having an outdoor ceremony. However, there is something you can do to make it much more stable. Get a 2x4 and drill two holes the size of the arch posts at the width of the arch. Place the rear posts of the arch in the 2x4 and your stability will be greatly improved. Of course then you have an ugly board there. I covered it with a nice white blanket. I was very pleased overall.Note: Half of the lights didn't work when we plugged them in but were able to fix by going through and twisting all the ones that were off. :)

This was a last minute purchase for our small private wedding. It was delivered within a week and hubby putnit together in our living room as a trial run the day prior to wedding. He struggled quite a bit the lack of instructions /words were not very helpful however he found instructions by another buyer online and it was then fairly easy. Please have whoever is assembling do a test run a few days prior because like i said instructions are confusing . We built and then took apart in 3 big pieces for quick assembly the day of . I gave this five stars because it looked and lit up just the way i imagined it. The built arch felt kinda worbely but might have been a builders error ;-) I wouldnt recomend heavily decorting due to lack of sturdiness . I used tulle which is very light weight, i bought 16 ft of tulle to drape from the top down the sides to the ground . I also used 3 bouquets of fake red roses . one at the top with about 6 bunches and one bouquet on each side of 4 bunches. It looked nice and even held up with my four year old messing with it during vows lol 😂 .. anyways i personally think this is a good buy at great price for decorative purposes, weddings, partys, photography backgrounds, ect. This same exact arch -brand / size in stores (Jo-anne fabrics) was 49.99

I have two of these and they are very easy to assemble. Due to the height you may need that extra person to help, especially when you put the lights on the top. The lights come with the arch and they are in a form of a web to cover the whole side of the arch. When you apply your own decorations it can look like a real masterpiece. I used zip ties to put on the flowers and other decorations I purchased on my own. If you decide to put this arch outside it is probably a good idea to use the zip ties on the lights to attach to the arch, even though clips comes with. The arch is wobbly, but once you place it in the ground it should be fine.

We are planning to use this arch for our wedding ceremony. My fiance and I set it up today in our living room to test it out. The directions were terrible, but once you figure out how it's suppose to be set up, it is really easy to put together. It is very wobbly, however. I would recommend building some sort of base as other users have mentioned. Also, it is much sturdier with the bottom section taken off (which makes it about 6 feet tall instead of around 8). Overall, for the price, I think it is acceptable. The lights are really pretty and make it look more expensive than it is.

This arch was exactly what I was looking for when planning my wedding. I chose this one mainly because it was inexpensive but it was better than I thought it would be! You do have to assemble it yourself but it is super easy! My maid of honor, one of my bridesmaids, and one of my groomsmen stayed over the night before the wedding and when we woke up the morning of, we put it together within a matter of minutes. The only down side is you have to figure a way to make it stand up on its own because it isn't very steady. But our wedding was in a grassy area so we just stuck it in the ground and it worked out great!

Assembly went well. The arch looks good, but is not very sturdy. Will have to attach to planters on each side to ensure that it doesn't fall over.
