Exceeds expectations! Quality craftsmanship! Works flawlessly!
The media could not be loaded. Had this for several days now. It’s even better than I expected! It’s as good as those costing 2 to 3 times more. Wood and hand carved. Very well made and I can find no faults. Hourly report is preceded by a short bird’s chirping, then doors open and cuckoo appears, flaps its wings and cuckoos with echo like in the forest. There is the sound of a babbling stream in the background. Easy to sync the number of cuckoos to the hour on clock. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Uses 3 “C” cell batteries. You can choose low, high or off on volume. The night “off” sensor works flawlessly. Liked it so much my kids want for their homes. So, ordered 1 more Owls and 1 Home/house style for Christmas gifts. Only thing that would make it better is a colorful cuckoo, but happy as is. FYI, the Owl and Squirrel style clocks use 3 “C” batteries and have brown cuckoo. The House style clock uses 2 “D” batteries and has a colorful cuckoo.

Looks just like the expensive clocks
Absolutely love this clock. Bought it for my husband who had one a long time ago. It cuckoos and echoes the cuckoos and there's a bubbling stream in the background. It's wonderful

Very pretty
I bought this for my daughter. It is very pretty. I only gave it 4 stars because I don’t understand why someone would put ridiculous cheap plastic hands and bird on such a beautiful clock. It really reduced the value of it. Manufacturer could do better.

D batteries required
Mine required D batteries not C batteries as instructions on Amazon states so I guess I donated 7 bucks to Amazon for C batteries that don't fit. Each hour the cockoo sings and wings open, but it also echoes a second time making the cuckoo sound doubled. I had to glue a wood piece on under cuckoo door upon opening box. The clock does work and cuckoo. It is not a 300 dollar handmade cuckoo clock so overall it is okay.

Terrible Cuckoo CLock
This clock is complicated to figure out, and it appears it doesn't work.
