SantiniRetro Prestige Team Cycling Caps (Mapei)

Comfortably fits under my helmet and provides protection from the sun when the flap is down.

I will be ordering more styles. Ordered the first just to see if it would fit my 7 5/8ths head, and it does. Wanted to leave this review just to help out anyone else who is wondering. Could probably fit even bigger sizes. Comfy, looks nice, fits under my helmet very well.

I am beyond pleased with my cap here's why:The quality of the can is great, especially the stitching. When I'm riding it does exactly what it's supposed to do (I mean it's obvious what a cap does, am I right?) I bought a mapei cap if you're wondering and yes it is worth it. I feel like a young Paolo Bettini when I'm riding if that says anything. I can assure you the service from longscycle is great as well because I ordered my cap and it came probably 2 days early from what I remember not to mention ingot a discount with my cap which if I chose to buy another it would probably be totally worth it. To make a long story short in reccomend this cap except my dye on the cap sublimated a lil because my aero helmet funked it up.

I would say I have an “average” sized head, got it halfway on before the seams started to pop.

I bought the multicolored mapei version a while back and have mixed feelings...sort of.Pros: I like the color scheme and design. But that’s itCons: the material is not breathable AT ALL. If you put it tightly up to your mouth and blow, almost zero air makes it through. When I’m riding I need general breathability(in the summer at least) and this doesn’t have it. It traps heat which obviously isn’t practical when exercising.Also it was insanely tight. The air flow pretty much ruled it out as far as wearing when it’s hot outside but the tight fit was also a deal-breaker.I did like the design though, so in the end I cut a tiny slit on the inside of the hat in the elastic part which took all the stretch out of it without cutting the actual hat. At that point it was just a fitted hat that sat on my head comfortably without being loose enough to fall off when moving around. Now I wear it casually as a regular hat cause I’m weird like that

Fit as expected. Colors faded noticeably after its trip or first trips into the washing machine. Now holds constant

Nice, good fit, scrunchy material to make 1 size fits all. good construction, no problems after 1 week of possession

Great cap. I love the classic caps. Not a lot of people wear them but that's okay.
