These came new in the box and work great with CUCM. Just don't forget to install the latest firmware.

The biggest problem with this phone is it claims to be a SIP phone, which I unfortunately presumed to be a fairly open standard. No where does the documentation inform you that the phone ~only~ works with cisco management software. There is no web management / interface to configure this phone for your own voip provider. I'm not partial to any one service or provider .. so if that is what the phones require .. so be it. However Cisco is proving to be very difficult .. I'm simply trying to track down getting this software - contacted Cisco through several avenues and have spent over 4 hours but they are trying really hard to demonstrate how clueless they are about their own products.

Hard to Use - Bad User Interface
I just got this in my office Sept 2019. I'm surprised at how hard it is to use features. The "Recent" Call list does not utilize the screen well. I can see the time/date, but there is no room for the phone number. To get the phone number, I need to click a button to see a differnt screen, from which, I cannot advance to the next call in the list, I need to press more buttons to go back, and select, and then see details... it's too much of a pain and essentially useless. Also useless is the SpeedDial Function. 1st of all, there is no SpeedDial function on the phone, it's all stored on a back-end server somewhere. Second, you can't just hit SpeedDial+1, you have to click into a menu, put in a PIN number and then scroll through... so useless.I hate this phone.

Firmware on these phones is from 2013 and not upgradable to current software versions. These phones are "new" but have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for years. This should have been stated in the description. I'll be returning my order.

Am I going deaf or is it this phone?
This is my work phone and the receiver volume is more than adequate but the speaker phone volume at its highest setting still requires everyone to lean in to listen. 10/10 speaker volume setting is really more like 7/10.And if you're wondering, there is no Cisco/24/Jack Bauer ringtone on this model. My last gripe is close proximity of the center selection button and the surrounding navigation ring. They are too close together.
