I use this on my face, décolletage, neck, behind my ears, and top of hands at night about 30 minutes before I lay down. It’s working wonders!! I’ve used it for a little while now and right off the bat it helped with my eye bags I seem to get when I sleep nowadays. This is a HUGE deal for me as I’ve tried so many home remedies to help with this and nothing worked, even so far as putting my whole face in an ice bath (hello brain freeze). It’s improving my skin texture and helping with dullness. Make sure you only use at night and avoid using too much, if any, around the very thin parts of your eyes as it can cause flaking to occur bc your skin doesn’t exfoliate in that area as fast and this product causes you to produce more cells aka ending up with too much equals flakings. I use it twice a week and that took about 4 weeks to get up to. If you use it too often you’ll get flakes as well, kinda looks like a sunburn peeling.Don’t use if your skin is damaged from the sun or if you plan on being in the sun the next day. It’s basically damaging your skin so your body sends more collagen to that area to “heal” it so if you damage it with the product and then with the sun then it’s overwhelming and can harm your skin vs helping it.Sunscreen constantly. I set an alarm on my phone for every two hours to reapply.If you use this product correctly it can do wonders for your appearance but please do a reasonable amount of research before you use. I’ve bought this several times. I’m 47 and have all the fine lines and sun damage. It’s definitely strong! I recommend using once a week at first if you haven’t used retinol before. No irritation and I just apply a thin layer of lotion before and after application. Works just as well or better than prescription. I’ve used retinol and trentoin and this is my favorite

I can't say enough about this product. When it comes to skin care price is not the biggest factor as long as the product genuinely works and let me tell you, this product WORKS!!! IT WORKS!!! Please be careful with this retinol if u decide to go for the 1.0 strength cuz u don't have sensitive skin because u WILL burn n peel off this stuff. I made the mistake and did this treatment two nights in a row and oh boy!!! I couldn't treat my face again for 2 weeks!! It literally felt like I got a chemical peel 💯. I tell u what tho my skin is beaming and tight, lifted, pores shrunk and fine lines gone. Even my hard creases in my forhead relaxed sum and that's all off one treatment. I may get a weaker strength so I can use it more often. Forget about any other retinol buy this!!

I’ve been using the 0.5 retinol of this brand for a few months and thought I should upgrade to the 1%. With the 1% I experienced burning around my neck and mouth that lasted 24hrs after applying. Then, I experienced peeling 3 days after application for at least a week.At first I thought I was having an eczema flair up until I realized it was the retinol. During the peeling stage I made sure to use a gentle facial cleanser, cold water, and apply creams for eczema.After the peeling faze, I had a reduction of my hyperpigmentation from acne and my skin over all looks brighter and fresh.I was using it twice a week, but I’m probably going to drop back to the 0.5 for a while.Tl;dr if you have sensitive skin your face will definitely burn and peel. Make sure to moisturize, apply that sunblock, and avoid any irritants (dust, pet hair, perfumes, makeup, ect) during the peeling faze.

I have purchased this product both in my dermatologist's office and a few times here on Amazon, and *every* time it has been the same excellent product. Just research the sellers before choosing one to buy from. When you start using this, you will see that your skin peels a bit, revealing new, plump, smooth skin. The 1% is a high concentration, and if you have very sensitive skin (I do not), you might want to start with the .25 or .5% concentrations, to ease your skin into it. My fine lines and crows feet smoothed out, my skin is plump, and glowing. I especially like the consistency of this product - it is an emulsion that absorbs nicely into your skin, leaving absolutely no greasy residue. So it does NOT have that slimey feel of serums with too much silicone. This product contains no (or very little) silicone. It absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling nourished. Use with your regular serums and moisturizers, as retinol itself can be a slightly drying ingredient. Worth every penny, and a bottle last several months. You do not need to apply very much product, so my bottle lasts me 6 months or more, with applying 2-4 times a week at night. If you are looking for the BEST most effective retinol product, this is it! I have tried so many, and none compare to this one!

Does not make my skin red or peel like other retinol creams have done. I do make sure I put on a moisturizer after I use it and I only use it at night before bed. I use it about 3 times a week and I’ve been using it now for about 3 weeks. So far no negative effects. I hope I see some improvement down the road.

I have used the 1.0 strength in the past and it made me peel like a snake. So I switched to the .5 and it did the same thing. SO FAR, the .25 is working much better on my skin.
