I can't say enough about this cordless phone!First off - it comes with a headset jack! Yes, You read that correctly - a *standard size headset jack.Very few cordless phones come with them anymore. Do a search on Amazon and you'll find very few phones with them.For other cordless phones, you have to buy an entire answering machine, extra phone headset to get one.This phone is wonderful! Comes in white and black models. It takes up little spacePhone features:1-Buttons are large and easy to read (black numbers on white background - doesn't require backlighting to read)2-The phone stands up by itself, if you set it down to use the speaker option3-On a call the phone does a great job of eliminating background noises on the other end of the call (perhaps on my side too; but I've not confirmed that). I talked with my boss while she called from her car and it was very clearI could hear background noises when using other cordless phones. Not this one! It takes a bit of getting used to - the call sounds so quiet, you think the other person hung up :)4-With the headset jack still plugged in, you can switch to the speaker option and back, in quick fashion5-Batteries are provided - the phone arrives with the back off, ready for battery insertion and phone charging.6-The phone arrives with the ringer set at a lower volume (you can change it to what you want, or turn it off!)7-There are 10 different ring tones.8-You can adjust the phone volume while on a call9-When you put the phone back on the stand, it plays a little tone, so you can tell it was put back properly.10-*The phone power cord and phone lines plug in the Back of the charging base. Not in some weird space on the bottom where you have to bend the cord so the base sits flat.12-The phone manual is written in English (seems to be someone who understands English - not translated from another language, using odd phrases and poor grammar).12-The phone company is based Tennessee. A USA company - hooray!13-Minimal packaging - just enough cardboard in the box to hold the phone items (stand, batteries, phone, charger base, charging cable and manual). Not an overabundance of cardboard and plastic, just enough.I purchased one phone for my home office (using my beloved headset for work calls) and bought another for my kitchen.This phone design was well thought out and executed.I'm a huge Clarity phone fan!*see photos for headset jack and cable areas on the base

I bought this with 2 additional handsets. Easy to set-up, works well enough for my needs. But the best thing is the size of the buttons, and that they are lighted. It also accepts and old-fashioned head-set jack.

I bought this for my mom, she has the macular disease and has lost 50% of her sight.This phone she can see and use with no problemI looked for months around for a phone like this, I read lots of reviews and this is by far the best I found.Quality is good and my mom is pretty happy she can dial numbers on her own!The hearing feature works very well also.

For a phone called Clarity...it is anything but CLEAR. Unfortunately I didnt open this until it was too late to return it. I bought this particular model because it said it was good for seniors with hearing issues....and yes, you can "boost" the poor clarity to be loud poor clarity...but it doesn't get clearer. I'm very disappointed but I'm stuck with it now.

Display is easy for her to read. Call clarity is really good for someone who wears hearing aids (no she doesn't have/need any blue tooth aids). Really good area coverage. Has a great deal of functionality mom doesn't need. Can't answer to how well that works or not. But it does what she needs...she uses it to make good reliable calls.

I purchased this phone for my father in law, who was moving into a long term facility (Chartwell to be specific). He is starting to lose his memory, wears a pair of hearing aids but is otherwise very independent. His new room in the long term care facility requires that he wears an alert necklace at all times for his personal safety. By his bed, which is wear the phone jack is located, is the intercome that connects to his nurses and PSW's. After setting up the phone, the phone would not always ring in his room. We learned that the intercom for the facility was interferening with the phone line somehow. We split his line, added a corded phone to the cordless and this corrected the problem. He prefers the cordless and loves the features of this phone, especially the volume boost which does help him hear better. The larger numbers also help. Overall this is a great phone for someone that is on the older side.

No funciona, la linea telefónica permanece ocupada (En uso) en cuanto conectas la base. Los demás teléfonos conectados a la línea dejan de funcionar y cuando lo desconecto, todo vuelve a la normalidad. Desgraciadamente cuando lo recibí aun no lo necesitaba y pasó mas de un mes que al parecer era lo que tenia de garantía, solo 30 días.

Everyone has a regular telephone... this product is very similar to the cordless telephone that many people have at home.. I like this product because one does not need to have a rocket science degree to use this phone. It does what it says it does... The explanation are clear to follow. Can be used with people who have hearing issues and use hearing aids. Thank you.

A bit pricey, but few other options on the market. Controls are in a different position than my Panasonic, so hit the mute button by mistake a couple of times. Volume increase seems good, but wish control was a bit more incremental/sensitive. My other phones are Panasonic cordless, and show 'Line in Use" when I am on this phone - so probably could not have someone pick up a Panasonic handset to join call. I have used Panasonic for years, so maybe that is why I find the menus not intuitive - means must refer to user manual often - at least for now.

Fake claims of being better for elderly. Not true. Hard to use and volume is not high on this
