This is a safe solution for running a Zoom F8 or F8nPro recorder from a 16+ volt V-battery. I tested the output and it is regulated to 11.7 volts DC.

Great choice for Zoom F8 and others
I haven't seen much online about this product -- on YouTube or anywhere else -- but this is a great way to power the Zoom F8 off a V-Mount battery. Simple, elegant, it just works. For me it beats carrying around multiple packs of Eneloop AA's (Zoom F8 takes 8 of them and I used to bring a second set of 8 for insurance). It apparently works great with some other Zoom and Sound Devices modules as well. Glad I found it.

Exactly the cable I needed!
I needed a coiled cable to power my Sound Devices MixPre-D while attached to my Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro. I wanted to power them from the same battery, so this was the perfect solution. I tested it yesterday and it works exactly as expected. Well built cable with quality connectors - exactly what I was looking for.
