If You Were a Preposition (Word Fun)

This book helped my daughter better understand prepositions. The illustrations are colorful, and the book does a good job explaining what can be a hard concept for some learners. This is great for visual learners.

Every book in this series is very enjoyable. The books will add a great deal to any grammar/language arts study for young people. The kids enjoy reading them and grasp the concepts so much better with these colorful books. Each page is full color, and painted with bright, beautiful pictures illustrating the information in an exciting way that will draw all kids into this book. Even the sentences are painted in various shaped letters and colors instead of regular, plain print. The "If You Were A..." series explains the parts of speech in a fun way that effectively teaches.

My students love these books (I teach Kindergarten).

I bought this to use in my grammar classes. Unfortunately, I can't because even my ESL students can find the errors. A time clause is not the same thing as a prepositional phrase.

Helpful for teaching.

I got this book for my son who has ASD and the book is a bit confusing for him BUT there are not many books specifically made for special needs learners in mind. However, it’s totally worth keeping in your little learners library. The illustrations remind me of my childhood (the 90s) which I enjoy. Overall, for us, it may still be useful in the future because our little guy cannot quite grasp prepositions, and there are not many resources outside of YouTube.

The book really helps my students understand prepositions!! This is perfect to read after the lesson or for centers.
