ATLAS MODEL 750 Lumber Yard & Office Kit HO

This was a really fun project, although I had some problems following the instructions, so I kind of just winged it. I added paint, changed the name of the company, and also used balsa wood to give the lumber yard some much needed lumber in it's inventory. All in all, I enjoyed constructing this and it will look great in my town.

I haven’t assembled this yet, but looking at the model and reading the directions, it’s going to be exactly what I need! I’m very happy with it!

Realized there were missing parts after starting to assemble. Extremely frustrating as the only resolution would be to break the model and stuff it back in box for a return

You can make the kit without any painting as the plastic comes in various colors. I decided to paint it instead to make the colors seem more realistic. If doing this, plan ahead so you don't paint sections that are going to need to be glued together. I made this mistake and spent a lot of time scraping off paint.

Good sample of stacked lumber. Looks good on layout.

Good HO scale kit. Typical Atlas excellent workmanship. There was no excess flashing on any of the parts or trees.

Very detailed model. Quite easy to make it your own.
