I have owned my 2006 LS430 for 14 years. Needed to replace the hood struts. Order came in new with hardware, installed in 30 minutes and now hood moves up and down like new.Front hood struts are a good product.

Used on 03 LS430. The ball joint needs another few degrees of flexion to be easy to install. I got them in, but was frustrating because of that.

Save yourself a bundle and replace your weak old struts yourself. If you've ever checked into what the dealer or repair shop will charge you for this easy repair, you'll agree. Even if you have to buy a set of metric wrenches (which I already had) you're still money ahead and you'll have a new set of wrenches. Installation is easiest if you have a helper to hold the hood open while you do the install, but I managed it myself using a stout broomstick to prop it open. I'd say it took me maybe 20 minutes including time to remove the old struts.

Installed easily, but one of the ball joints came loose, and looks like the assembly was flawed. I managed to insert wire differently, and its holding so far. The other one is fine, so maybe a fluke.

These definitely do not fit a 2002 LS430. The angle of the top connector is too low.

Correct size for my car and was installed easily as instructed.

They seem like they should fit just fine but on of the struts is missing the retainer clip inside the ball housing end. It's the clip that makes the ball end click in place and not the pin. Will have to return it I guess and get a replacement I guess. Hopefully the replacement comes complete.

definitely really simple to do ( ANYONE CAN INSTALL NOT HARD AT ALL) only two bolts on each side to do and they work amazingly goes up slow and slows up once near max extension worth the money!!
