PetWasteCo Scoopbuddy Pooper Scooper (PWC-099)

My only dislike is that the bags do not stay in the lock ring well. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this product.

The bags are hard to put on especially if you have any issues with your hands like my husband and I do.

We had a wonderful scooper that we purchased a couple decades ago (no longer made) the downside it was plastic.. so time & weather warped it.I was thrilled to find this scooper - because it is made with metal, should be durable and handle weather and use much better.Design of the rake is nice, with a flat side that can be used as well as the rake side.The clamp is a nice design - easy to open & close (but not by accident).Comes with a huge supply of bags.. but also should work with grocery bags too (will test that out and try to update later)It is heavy.. but feels very well made.This review is before use, I will update as we use it to how well it is working out.. but this is exactly what we were looking for & very happy to find it.

Picking up dog poop is not the most desired chore, but the Scoopbuddy has made it so easy. I love the simplicity and durability of the tool. I have picked up in tall grass, short grass, gravel, and weeds with no problems. Having the bags easily attached and removed makes disposal really easy and quick and no contact with the fecal material.This is a strong tool that will never have to be replaced. I used to use the ones with the jaws and left a lot of the poop on the ground as I went to pick up another dropping. Not the case with this tool.Hats off to the designers. I have had this a long time now and can say I am extremely pleased!

I can't believe this thing has so many five star reviews! Aside from arriving damaged (with multiple scratches on it), the design doesn't make much sense. Having the bag on here is touted as a feature, but now when you go to put another bag on it, you have to get up close and personal with the business end of the device, and try to thread a plastic bag through a locking mechanism. Hopefully I can get my money back. I already ordered a competing model for half the price that allows you to stay on the other end of the smelly parts.

It's a little pricey for a poop scoop, but it's also all metal and seems like it will last a long time. Really love the design to be able to get poop straight into a bag without having to bend over to touch it. The included bags work really well but won't hold very much if you have a lot to pick up. I went through about a dozen of them during the big spring cleanup after all the snow melted where I am. But the bags will hold enough for normal jobs if you pick up at least once a week. This seems like the last poop scoop I'll ever need.

I am so glad I spent the little extra money for this. It is all metal and very well constructed. The mechanism that holds the bag in place is very well though out and duragle. The thing should last a LONG TIME!! I am so pleased with it. The little rake it comes with is a nice thing to have also. It comes with a box of poo bags but any type of closed end bag will work with it. Don't be shy about spending the little bit extra. You will be pleased also.
