Fantastic value for money, both of my children absolutely loved it. Kept them entertained for ages! They made some brilliant T-shirts and they’ve washed up really well and held their colour.

Well worth the money! There are lots of colours, they provide a cover to keep your working space dye free and the instructions are pretty simple. We did this as a family on 4 cotton tshirts and from 5 to 55 we had lots of fun There will be plenty left over for other projects too.

I used this kit with my brownies, we prepped all 18 bottles and still had about half left over after dying 13 kids T-shirts and 3 adult t shirts. I’d recommend soaking and thoroughly wringing the fabric before dying it, helps the dye soak in better than onto dry fabric. The T-shirts looked excellent when dry and the kids had an excellent time coming up with their design ideas and colour choices. And the reveal moment was so much fun, they had no idea what the end results would be and they were delighted! We did use our own gloves, proper latex style ones which were sturdier than the provided ones, and added additional rubber bands. Otherwise, the kit was perfect.

The children had been asking for a tie-dye set and we finally got them this very complete set as a craft activity to battle lockdown-boredom and to keep them off the iPads for a bit. I didn’t even know what tie-dye was until I realised that my kids would be wearing the same awful bleached garments as the hippie children in my class from the early 70’s.. bummer.. next thing they will do is hugging some trees. We also bought 6 of the cheapest white t-shirts we could find on Amazon, that actually happened to be a decent quality (Fruit of the Loom). The set has a wide range if colours and comes with elastic bands for different patterns. We selected this set because came with a handy storage box but also because it include a protective cloth and thin plastic gloves. We had to offer quite some parental assistance not to let it derail into a messy project. So we were all wearing protective garden gloves, put hard plastic covers on the ground as protection and had lots of wipes at hand. The tie-dye process is actually quite straightforward, you just mix some water with the bottle, find some willing children’s hands to shake. It comes with thin plastic gloves and a table cloth, and rubber bands. However you need to have some plastic bags at hand for the overnight soak. The instructions say that this set can dye over 30 shirts, perhaps but it depends on the brightness of colour you prefer. I would say it is probably closer to half of that if you want bright coloured shirts. Would recommend this to long haired unconventional people, those that reject established society, or that live in communal societies, and that advocate non-violent ethics. And then of course every decade or so it will briefly be highly fashionable to walk around in these pretty atrocious shirts.

Absolutely amazing value for money. Its fun and really easy to do. The results were amazing and I am really really pleased. I bought the set for my daughter as she wanted to try and make some tie dye clothing for all the family. It was really simple to do. The bottles come with powder and all that you need to do is add water to the fill line and shake to mix. As there are multiple bottles of some of the same colour eg pink I decided that I would use the second bottle diluted. I used the first bottle of pink at full strength then when it came to the second bottle I put the powder into a jug and added 2 bottles worth of water and mixed before filling the 2 bottles back up. This made the dye go twice as far and I have to say the colours were still very vibrant. I pre washed all the whites to get rid of any shrinkage and applied the dye to the clothes straight out of the washing machine when they were damp. Once the dye was applied I put the items into food bags and left for a minimum 6 hours. For the items I wanted to be more bright and vibrant I left these overnight and in total balit 18 hours. I have to say for the cost of the dye and the cheap white clothes I got from a local supermarket I have to say each item of clothing worked out to be around £3/£4 each for the tshirt and dye etc looking at what I've been able to create for this price I'd say its more than worth it! I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to buy again. Item also arrived sooner than expected.

I got this for my niece,she was delighted with it. She was able to work it out on her own and even designed a tshirt for her younger sister.

This is brilliant for the price. A couple of tips when dying • Wash garment then soak on soda ash for 20 mins then put in washing machine on a high speed setting but not on a rinse and spin or you'll wash out the soda ash. Soda ash locks in the colours. Don't put dye onto the garment when it's dry. Before you start watch a few youtube videos, on tie dye this is more help than the instructions.
