Wild birds love this product!

Long lasting, good value, and birds love it.

This was a "5" rating. Finches chose Lyric Finch over all other products I tried. They consumed it twice as fast as the competing brands. But, the last bag contained numerous small peanut pieces. These do not work as well in tube/cage feeders. Also, Gold Finches have very tiny beaks, not as well-suited for those nuts mixed in. I have to go through the food first, sift out the peanuts, and put them in a separate feeder. Please, don't change a product that was absolutely superior before!

Wow, a great product all the birds love it.

I have discovered with regularity that the Finches, including the Gold Finches and Sparrows, reject other similar wild bird mixes in favor of Lyric. When I run out of Lyric, their consumption drops off dramatically. As I write this review, I have two exactly alike feeders on the same double shepherd's hook outside, one with the Lyric mix and the other with a similar competing brand. The birds have almost completely consumed the Lyric side while the other brand has been eaten by only about 1/5 of the quantity of the Lyric Mix. Honestly, if I run out of Lyric, I am concerned because I know that the birds will 'vote with their wings'. There is just something they like better about the Lyric Finch Small Songbird Wild Bird Mix! I'm being truthful.....Lyric did NOT ask me to say this! Lyric is doing things right for my wild birds.

Though it’s mainly meant for smaller birds like finches (who definitely enjoy it), the mourning doves at my feeder ADORE smaller seeds like these to no end!!! I’m not kidding— I use multiple feeds and this mix is always picked clean before the rest of the tray is even considered. I’ve ordered my fair share of bags from Lyric, and they have good, high quality feed. Just be sure to take the desiccants out of the mix before putting it in your feeders; it caught me off guard the first time! Otherwise, the birds absolutely adore this mix!

Very much enjoyed by the doves and all the smaller birds. Usually very good quality, minimum of corn and sunflower seeds although some times the quality is missing. This is the only brand I buy. I've found better prices elsewhere however. Thus the 3 stars.
