these are pretty good However i do recommend going with the transon goat hairs, they are only a couple more dollars yet about 2 times better. these do have an excellent point and i think better than most brushes out there. the belly isn't very full so they dont hold as much water as I'd expect but still hold more than most synthetics do, so i would give them a 3/4 recommendation. so far i have liked them to make leaves with as the thinner-ness of them and the good point, makes for nice slightly wiggly leaves.

I want to say these are amazing for the price, but they are even better than that. I'd still be impressed by them if I had payed 4x as much. They are the best paint brushes I own and I have several much more expensive sets. They hold a lot of paint or ink and hold their shape very well. Even the bigger brushes can make incredibly fine detail because their points are so perfect. I highly, highly recommend these.

Good cheap brushes for beginners. Don’t expect a lot from them, but for the price point it’s a nice set.

I have been using this set of brushes for about one week. Soaking in warm water for about four minutes before use. First of all, these brushes are make with goat hair. It has very good water absorption and water gathering property, including the pigments, is also very strong. Plus, it is a round brush, which is often used when drawing. There are ten brushes in this brush set. #00 and #000 can be used as line drawing brushes, and the line sense can be well controlled. The rest #0, #2-#8 are very common brush sizes. The remaining three can be used to draw the background. The effect and brush feeling are great. On the whole, this set of brushes is highly recommended, which is excellent in both sense of use and common use of brushes.

Certainly, for the price, these are decent brushes, especially for beginners.Make sure to soak them for 2-3 minutes to prep the new brushes.Just be aware the sizes of these brushes run large compared to at least some other brush brands.The size 4 is equivalent to a size 6 of a Silver Brush and Winsor Newton.So if you move up to more professional brushes from these (or coming from other brands) you may want to take that into account.

I found these brushes to be "reasonably" useful. The problem with them is the "point" that is very trendy right now but I find it actually makes what I do more difficult. I took some scissors and cut off the "points" and so that brushes are looking much, much better to me. They are certainly well-made and sturdy.

If you are looking for thirsty, soft brushes, look elsewhere. I will say if you like to paint details with less water, these would work decent. They don't hold much water or paint, are slightly stiff, so keep this in mind when purchasing. I'm used to painting with squirrel brushes. Not expensive squirrel brushes, but natural bristles.

These were the perfect set of brushes for paint I ordered for my 5 year old son to do some artwork. He was able to handle the brushes well and the different sizes were great for detailing. They are better for older kids—my 2 year old decided to finger paint instead. :) This set comes with clear instructions on how to care for them and it has a great storage case. We look forward to using them for future painting projects.
