GREAT QUALITY!
Aunt Martha's 18-Inch by 28-Inch Vintage Dish Towels, Cotton, Red Striped:These are absolutely the best dish towels I have! The quality of both the hemming, and of the absorbent cotton, is EXCELLENT. There is a loop for hanging; they are just the right size. Plus, they look beautiful and cheerful in the kitchen--Thank you, Aunt Martha!!

Bizarre order page but excellent towels
Something is seriously wrong with the order page for these towels. (April, 2025) I tried to order 12 @ $3.25 each and the total was $8.99. So, go figure. I just ordered without knowing how many I would actually get. Answer: 3, like the picture. But the towels are great. Lightweight, old-fashioned cotton dish towels. Nice design. Light brown so they don’t show stains as badly. I got 3, washed them and tried them out, then bought 6 more.

Nice old-fashioned towels and work well to make Iron-On designs
I like these towels as they are not huge and have a pretty stripe to them. I also love that they have a loop at one corner for hanging up on a hook. They work well for making iron-on designs for home decor and gifts for others. I didn't buy them to actually use in the kitchen for drying/cleaning so I can't say how well they work for that. But they feel good and like they would work well. They do wrinkle easily because they are 100% cotton but you can iron them after washing to get them a bit smoother.

Decent towel, accept embroidery well, pleasently conservative design
Small hook loop for hanging, not crazily colored or styled, just a simple towel for gifts/kitchen/etc.Quality is good, yet wrinkles easily. Needs to be laundered a few times for good absorption. Nice clean look when starched and pressed... (Who has time for that?) Make excellent gifts.Machine embroidery went swimmingly with stabilizer.

EXCELLENT TOWELS
I was so glad to see that they are made in India--you almost always get great quality with Indian cottons. These are no exception. Heavy, durable, and washed up great the first time. I will buy again.

Simple but stylish!
I love the simplicity of the stripes. They have a vintage charm about them. The material is also a good quality.

WELL MADE ATTRACTIVE VINTAGE STYLE KITCHEN TOWELS BUT NOT ABSORBENT AT ALL
I ORDERED THE AUNT MARTHA MULTI-COLOR STRIPE TOWELS TO BE OUT CONSTANTLY IN MY YELLOW AND WHITE KITCHEN WITH RED, BLUE, YELLOW, & GREEN ACCENTS. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE BRIGHT COLORS AND THE QUALITY OF THESE TOWELS. THEY ARE VERY WELL STITCHED ENCLOSED HEMS AND SIDES, MADE OF HEAVY TEA-TOWEL MATERIAL, AND ARE QUITE LARGE 12"X28", WITH A SEWED ON LOOP TO HANG THEM. THEY LOOK WELL IN MY KITCHEN.UNFORTUNATELY, THEY HAVE PROVEN TO BE TOTALLY NON-ABSORBENT. WIPING MY WET HANDS ON THEM LEAVES ALL THE WATER ON MY HANDS, AND NONE ON THE TOWEL.I HAVE WASHED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS IN HOT WATER AND LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT, AND THEN DRIED THEM IN THE DRYER WITH NO FABRIC SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS TO HELP THEM BE ABSORBENT. I FIGURED THAT THIS WOULD REMOVE ANY SIZING ON THE MATERIAL, AND THOUGHT THEY WOULD "BREAK-IN" PER OTHER REVIEWERS. BUT AFTER 2 YEARS, I DON'T THINK THEY WILL.THESE TOWELS WILL PROBABLY LAST A LIFETIME AND LOOK WELL ON DISPLAY. BUT IF YOU BOUGHT THEM TO DRY YOUR HANDS, YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. BETTER TO USE THE INEXPENSIVE FLUFFY "KITCHEN" TOWELS.THEY WOULD PROBABLY BE GOOD COOKING ACCESSORIES: THEY WOULD WORK WELL FOR PLACING OVER BREAD BOWLS TO LET THE DOUGH RISE OR TO USE WHEN ROLLING UP JELLY ROLLS OR CINNAMON ROLLS. YOU COULD PROBABLY ROLL OUT PIE CRUST DOUGH ON THEM AS WELL AND NOT HAVE IT STICK.
