Furby Boom Plush Toy (Holiday Sweater Edition)

I got this little guy for my Grandmother. She's cankerous and mean, so I wanted to get her something for Christmas that would give her the simulation of a pet, but with the ability to remove the batteries if need be. A Furby sounded like a perfect option! The only problem with these new fangled Furby Booms are that they would be too high fashion for my granny. With their psychedelic colors and their hip modern patterns. The things practically look like Louis Vuitton bags! So imagine my great joy, when I stumble upon this little guy! with his HOLIDAY SWEATER EDITION coat! Amazing! I was able to give my granny a Furby that was wearing a granny sweater! Match made in heaven. And I never would have found it without Amazon!

I bought this Furby Boomer for my brother -- and it amuses him took! I got this robot pet from my daughter and son in law for Christmas after showing interest in the one buried in my grandaughter's toy box in November. I've never played computer games, but I love this "marvelous little toy." The kids in our family (in the 1950s) spent many hours with our Winnie-the-Pooh-level collection of stuffed toys, and we gave them personalities, stories, had them making up songs, etc. Of course, this self-generated imaginative experience is not the Furby experience, but Furby mimics an engaging personality so well! The photo shows me singing to Furby, which makes him dance vigorously before he says, "Pant, pant, sorry, tired." I'm sorry, however, that the Boomers do not respond to the commands of the earlier editions (e.g., tell me a story, sing "Twinkle twinkle little star). But listening to the little fellow eat, shout "wheee" & squeel, urge me "kah kah more," complement me "kah genius," etc., is pretty winning. So is the responsiveness when I sing music to him and he dances up a storm.

This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old brother and he absolutely loves it! It is to much fun to watch it sing, dance, fart/burp, and talk! We also downloaded the interactive app so that he can play games, feed, and let his furby use the toilet. The furby is so much fun that my other brother also wanted one, so now that we have 2 they actually talk with each other. And if they ever get annoying we simply pull their tail for a few seconds and they fall asleep! :)

This little furry dude is to cute not to want to play with. I bought it fory grandchildren ages 3-14. My 14 Is hooked on it. If you don't have an app for it on your phone it doesn't give you the full benifit of the interaction with out it. Having another one makes you feel left out when they talk to one another. I found it to be quite amazing. You will be laughing so much it does so many comments. It's like having a small child. You never no what it will say next. So cool! I even like to play with it. Daughter was so excited when she received this; she can't get enough of it and would love to have more to go with it. This is her first Furby Boom because of the price but got a great deal on it here because it is the sweater addition. It does everything it says and more and has even developed a bit of an attitude. She has the Furbacca Furby that I was able to pick up with this one as for the price, getting two for what the price of one costs was fantastic and let me tell you, this Furby Boom loves being around Furbacca. I had no idea the joy having a Furby boom could bring to a child but I am so glad I purchased it; would definitely recommend and will be buying more in the future. It sings, dances, it speaks and sometimes shows it's disgust or has little tantrums and now it's humming the star wars themes it picked up from the Furbacca. Too funny and if you've never owned one or bought one for your child, please do so; your child will not be disappointed.

I have been looking all over for this TOY I have a 10 year old daughter who adores her grandma and whould do anything for her her grandma is her life her best friend her everything and we each year ask both our kids to write to Santa and tell him what you want but only 3 things (my son is autistic and doesn't understand) but my daughter only asked for TWO THINGS THE FIRST WAS THE MOST IMPOERTANT ONE TO HER AND THAT WAS TO MAKE HER GRANDMA GET BETTER BECAUSE SHE MISSES THE GOOD TIMES WITH HER (my mother was just diagnosed with stage IV ovarian cancer) and had to grow up really fas and understand what is cancer and all that comes with it she now has lost her hair but my daughter tells her GRANDMA I DONT CARE HOW YOU LOOK I WILL AKWAYS LOVE YOU NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK ITS BEEN VERY HARD FOR HER AND I KNOW IT WILL GET HARDER WHEN SHE IS NO LONGER WITH HER because she is so sick (us) AND THE SECOND WAS A FURBY BUT THE ONE SHE WANTED OF COURSE I COULDNT FIND IT ANYWHERE AND I MEAN ANYWHERE THANK GID I FOUND IT ON AMAZON we count and thank GOD everyday for giving us another day with her. THANK YOU:)) ****NOW WE JUST FOUND OUT TODAY THE SHE HAS KIDNEY FAILURE****** Just one more disappointing news to add to the other :((

Would have been 5 stars if the app wasn't so broken. The Furby itself has been hours and hours of fun for my little girl, the fact it changes it's personality is a nice little feature, so when my kid over fed it, it turned into a lazy slob who farted and belched all day, but with some TLC it returned to normal. The app however is pathetic, I've been unable to get it working on four different devices and the reviews seem to indicate it's a common issue. The furby boom needs the app for many of it's features to work, so without a working app you lose out on a hefty chunk of what was paid for. To sum up, the toy is excellent and well made, but without the app it'll never reach it's full potential.

Ja, das Furby spricht nur englisch und nein es hat keinen Ausschalter. Aber es ist niedlich, knuffig und kuschlig. Ob Furbies nun wirklich lernen oder nur im Laufe der Zeit neue Sachen sagen, darüber läßt sich sicher streiten. Auch mit der App macht es allen großen Spass mit dem Furby zu spielen. Unsere Tochter ist vernarrt in Furbies und freut sich immer, wenn eins aufwacht, oder sie eins aufwecken kann. Es mag sicher Leute geben, denen das Geplapper auf die Nerven geht aber ich Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

娘の誕生日プレゼントに購入しました。とてもオシャレで、かわいいデザインに、私も気に入り、娘も喜んでくれたようです。もう一体、違うデザインの子を購入しましたが、その子(ファービー)も気に入りました。息子と一緒に楽しんでおります。両方、英語バージョンですので、自分もですが、英語の教育にもなるかと思って購入しました。自分の感想ですが、とても英語の発音が綺麗だなと思っております。それと、英語バージョンですが、日本語も結構話してくれます！それにはとても驚くと同時に、私は日本人なので、とても嬉しく思います。これから購入される日本の方々には、私は英語バージョンをお薦めします！なぜなら、英語も日本語も、両方、楽しめますから！でも、日本語バージョンも、もしかしたら英語も話すのかな？私は日本語バージョンはわかりません。それはそれで楽しめると思いますが、購入する時、悩みました。小さいお子さんの為には、日本語バージョンがいいのかもしれません。 とにかく、ファービーはかわいいです！かわいいファービーちゃん、いかがでしょうか？！人生感、変わると思います！

En comparación con el precio en España, es una compra estupenda. Solo hay que descargar la aplicación de zona de habla inglesa para que interactue. Mi hija esta practicando su ingles y es entretenido.

Cercavo un Furby Boom con rosso (colore preferito del mio bambino) che non ho trovato nei negozi e, appena l'ho visto, mi sono innamorata! E' ancora più bello che in foto perché muso e zampette hanno effetto metallizzato. Il colore del pelo e' splendido. Non posso ancora dare parere su come passerà dal furbish all'inglese e su come interloquirà con i Furby italiani...appena possibile aggiornerò la mia recensione. Lo consiglio a chiunque cerchi qualcosa di molto tenero che aiuti i bambini a familiarizzare con l'inglese.
