Have been a Twinkly fan for several years, slowly building a small collection for Tree / House / Garden - always look for discounted prices, particularly away from Christmas time!The clusters work reealy well as the LEDs are better spread out, so the patterns you can apply / design appear more effectively.If you plan to combine sets together, worth being aware there are two Cluster product variants (STV and STP) that have very slightly different hues (one is slightly more 'blue' one is slightly more 'red') - there doesn't appear to be a way to determine this until you connect them to the app unfortunately. This isn't a problem unless they are running alongside each other, and you are looking for maximum consistency across the two sets.

Setup is relatively easy if you just take your time. The brightness is great and the effects on it fantastic. These will look great in my home setup.

Was looking to buy a new set of Christmas Tree lights.After browsing over a dozen sets came across Twinkly.Although expensive they seemed to have the features I most wanted.Looked at the Cluster set which has 400 lights and is 6 meters long.My tree is 4ft high (from first branches above the base to the tip at the top) and figured 6 meters should just manage it.After unpacking the lights and setting them up on the tree you download the twinkly app.Press the button on the tree light on/off switch to connect to to the twinkly phone app.You then hold your phone up to the tree so the app can map the layout of your lights.ADVANTAGESThere are plenty of colour setting patterns to choose from (almost 40) and you can download additional free ones.The first video is "rainbow" where the colours of a rainbow change/display upwards like a wave.The first photo is the "carnival" setting where the lights blink through various colours like standard Xmas lights.The second photo is "night sky" where the lights constantly morph from blue to lavender. Really nice.Where these lights really come into their own is you can adjust & edit the patterns.There's everything from waves/flashing/rotating/twinkling etc etc...You can alter the brightness, speed and on most of them change the colour and add your own favourite colours.You can also choose a standard pattern and program in your favorite colours.These lights can do almost anything you want.After playing around with them for 3 days now I'm really happy with them.Get fed up with certain patterns/colours? Just program in new ones and change the colours/brightness/speed to suit your taste.For a lot of the patterns, when editing the colours, you get a colour spectrum so you can change the shade. Really handy!DISADVANTAGESFirstly, the length. Could have been a few meters longer but I feel just managed it for a 4ft tree.Please check attached videos and judge for yourself.Secondly, the price. When I first saw these on Amazon they were £184. After a week they dropped to £175, then £163 where I bought them. At writing this they are now £153.Really wanted these to took the plunge. Sometimes you have to and bite the bullet.If you really have money to burn you can buy 2 sets and have them mapped using the app so they appear as one set.To sum up, yes, expensive lights - one star deducted - but really nice and versatile.I didn't want to buy another standard set and wanted more control. With these you def get that but at a price!!

Brilliant idea for lights to have all colours and patterns changing on your Christmas tree, but, even at 400 lights, make sure your tree is only 2 foot because thats all this will cover- a lot of money when you consider this product won’t cover much area at all!Shame really

I love these lights had this brand for years always a head turner and Xmas. Highly recommend
