As you can see by the photos the word Ash was painted on far from straight and the hole that the handle screw went into was left extremely rough and with razor sharp edges. It was also way too big....the only thing that was holding the screw head in place was a couple of the jagged edges, any use at all and it would have pulled straight through. Returned, wanted another bucket but advised them if they were all the same then please refund rather than send replacement.....they refunded so can only presume that they are all like this. Very poor quality, worse than seconds.

if only the lid was more secure to keep ashes that are hot, I haven't used because lid could slide off when hot but is more of a show piece

To be honest I am a little disappointed in this product, it does it's job but it's flimsy and light weight, I like the writing on the Ash bucket and the wooden knob on the lid and handle

Shocking build, lid very loose and then opp when first used with hot ash. Simply not up to jobBrush bristles fell apart whan first used (on cold ash).Bucket now used as planter..........

Lid was marked in several places. Also hole formed to attached lid handle has sharp sections on the underside which cut my finger.

The lid didn't and was never going to fit the way it was constructed. And since the only reason I bought it was for hot dusty ash, it wasn't fit for purpose. Product returned at my expense.Buyer beware the return policy.
