I was happy to find a brush like this at such a low price(under $15), but I was let down.The buttons are placed on the handle, right where you have to hold the brush, so I was constantly readjusting the settings because they would be turned up/down with almost every stroke of the brush.It does not warm up quickly. I thought five to ten minutes would have sufficed, but fifteen and twenty minutes later, on 230 degrees Celsius( it doesn't have a Fahrenheit setting), I could barely tell if it was working properly.The manual has several typos and misinformation. It mentioned that for certain hair, you could go up to 290C, but that is not correct. This brush only goes to 230C.I have medium length, thick and wavy/curly hair. The brush slightly smoothed it out but it did not straighten, so if you're wanting smooth and straight hair, I would stick with a flat iron. The brush is also bulky and if the silicone on the bristles wasn't pulling my hair, the other, harder bristles were scratching my scalp and ears.

This straightener is amazing! I love it! It works great on my hair! I have thick, naturally wavy hair, and I was amazed at how easily it just glided through it! I was skeptical about trying this because I haven't had much luck in the past with other straighteners, but I'm very glad that I did! I will be saying goodbye to all my other straighteners!

I don't think it's for curly / ethnic hair. It does not straighten your roots like a flatironIt works on rest of your hair but leaves it super dry and smelling burnt! Plus, the on/ off , temp. Buttons are very sensitive and turn up/ down - on/, off when your hold the brush!

This arrived today so I rushed to try it. It performed exactly as it advertised...heated up quickly, ran smoothly through my hair and straightened it whilst removing all frizz! I've packed up my flat iron and curling wand because I will be using this one product to both straighten and give my hair a nice upward or downward flip as my whim takes me. This was a great deal for the price. I only wish I had bought one earlier! Highly recommend for those who do not want to fuss with contraptions.

Does not work well

Do not buy if you have think hair....I didnt expect it to work perfectly but I figured that the day after I straighten it with a flat iron I could use this to touch up rather than completely frying my hair again with the flat iron. However, it did not help at all and pulls my hair :(

love it! works great, been using it since i got it last wednesday. it gets hot enough to straighten but not enough to burn as long as you are careful

Works perfectly! I have kinda thick hair and this cuts my straighening time in half.
