I recently started mixing & producing techno again after a decade long break. I have a set of Sony DJ headphones that I bought 15+ years ago that were relatively high end. These Sony phones have been amazing & still operate flawlessly but unfortunately are cosmetically 'a little worse for wear'. I tried desperately to find a new set of Sonys but they no longer appear to manufacture models at the (around) £100-£150 price point that are suitable for my purposes. Pioneer, have saved the day! These headphones 🎧 are outstanding! I didn't think that I would get a pair of plain old passive & cabled phones for under £90. These pioneers are Bluetooth enabled, extremely stylish & are the perfect gift/purchase for any DJ, producer or casual listener. The detachable, sprung & colour coordinated jack cable allows for a flawless standard (wired) connection to your DJ MIDI controller (or any other compatible high definition audio interface/device) that produces crisp, clear & loud sound output. My mixing (deejaying) setup consists of these pioneers, a NI traktor S2 MK3, a set of trust monitor speakers & a Ryzen 9 Asus laptop running Mixxx on fedora 40. The setup is literally 'plug & play' & a dream upgrade for a DJ who used to mix only vinyl. Buy these headphones, you won't be disappointed!!

Love the design and look of these having found my Sony headphones now broken (after 20 odd years!). The sound quality is crystal clear and of great quality. Highly recommend.

They are a bit bassy as mentioned by other reviewers, but they are also very clear, for music as well as audio books. I have tried better headphones in the past, but these punch above their weight, in other words great for their price. The weight is fine but a little lighter would be nice.
