Performacide 120132 Mildew Stain Blocker, 32 oz.

I live in hot, humid south Florida and installed white Edison "party" vinyl string bulbs around my pool. After just a couple of months the white vinyl was covered in black mildew. I used the Performacide cleaner and it made cleaning the surfaces (which as you might imagine with these lights was not convenient) easy, just very light wiping of the surfaces (I also used the cleaner on a mildewed white garage door that bleach would not remove the mildew stain from and the cleaner was amazing stain wiped right off and did not harm the paint). Anyway, back to this product. After cleaning I used the stain blocker and after 5 -6 months the string lights and door are still white. I would recommend using a mask and skin and eye protection (as I would any spray cleaning product, especially outdoors where a breeze might blow it back on you). While the cleaning product requires light wiping, I just sprayed the stain blocker on, nothing else. I will probably reapply soon so I don't have to clean again (Note, the lights and door are outside but are protected from direct exposure to rain so reapplication might be necessary more often) . The stain blocker has exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

I sprayed it behind my dishwasher. When that didn't work, I pulled out the subfloor and treated it again. It still didn't wok. I hate using the dishwasher now because the smell gets blown out under the foot plate.
