Q: What is the weight limit?

The current version of the bench has a sticker on the bottom claiming a 600lb weight limit. We had a couple of guys sitting on it that don't weight near 600 lbs and it buckled and broke in the middle. YMMV

yes. don't forget to lock it when you unfold it. there should be a red lock switch.

We do not make cushions for our benches. The bench top measures 72" x 11.5" and is 1.69" thick. I hope that helps you find or make something that will work for you.
