AP® European History Crash Course, 2nd Ed., Book + Online: Get a Higher Score in Less Time (Advanced Placement (AP) Crash Course)

I had a Euro teacher sophomore year who did not teach the class what we needed to know for the exam. Many of my friends got 1s and 2s on this exam, but I got a 5 and it was all thanks to this book. We ordered the AMSCO for the class and received it in January but it was not what we needed (I do highly recommend the AP Human Geography AMSCO however), but this crash course was a God send. It spelled out the exam section by section with allocated time and recommended time for each question. Then it gave the information. All of the information in this book is what you need for the exam. There is no extraneous information nor interesting facts that other books try to throw in. All of the facts in this book are bullet points with dates and places to lay it out. There is even a vocabulary list with important words and information about how often certain topics show up on the AP Exam. There is even a section on strategies to writing Long Essay Questions, a Key Themes section (popular themes for writing topics on the exam), and a Chronological review to put everything into place. It also includes an online practice exam. However, the practice exam was very easy compared to the past AP Euro Exams and the 2019 one. One week before test day, I went through this book and made a quizlet with paraphrased information and vocab that I was planning on reviewing the night before. It took me about 5 days to get through it with school and sports in the way, but it's only 343 pages. I began to improve in my writing practice and multiple choice. I strongly recommend this review book and it will be a very helpful addition to your studying and preparation. If you want to make a 5 on the AP Euro Exam, this is the book.

Crash Course AP European History is exactly what it claims to be: a brief, clear review of AP European History for students who waited til the "last minute" (i.e., a few weeks) to study for the exam. Folks complaining that it doesn't have 2 full practice exams haven't paid attention to the description of the book--it doesn't claim to Do It All. It's much smaller than the full size study guides on purpose; great to keep in your backpack for quick unit reviews. I've taught AP Euro over 20 years and always recommend it to my students.

I love this book. Very concised and bought it cuz of online YouTube recommendations by other students who got a 5. But yea, it's still summer for me so I don't know if it'll help with my class or the ap test may 2018. Hopefully yes and I've read through it a little bit to get a feel of wha I'll be learning this year and I have to say the materials are pretty interesting. I'll update once I take the test and get my results back

This is one of the best type of review books. I find that these books are good for all kinds of AP history courses. Helped me out a lot during my prep for the AP. It highlights key points and explains events in a way that helps you organize cause and effects of turning points in history. I would definitely recommend this practice book for all students taking the AP

My daughter is using this for her AP European history class. She says it is very helpful when studying for tests.

For quick and concise review close to test day this is a great book. However, if self studying i would recommend another review as this doesn't go as in depth as needed.

I bought this right before my AP European history exam and it did WONDERS. Learned more with it than in my entire year at school
