ZITAY SSD to CFast Adapter, CFAST 2.0 Memory Card to M.2 SATA SSD 1TB Hard Drive Card Adapter SATA M.2 Compatible for Red Komodo BMPCC 4K 6K ZCAM E2 BMD Canon

Got this for use with my Red Komodo, and it works flawless. I can't shut the door on the unit but it's okay not to have to pay 10x the price for CFAST cards. Also works on my BMPCC6K.

On papper it looks grate with the screw to grab on to the camera and all, but once you’re going to add the ssd you realize the poor quality of the connector inside. You have to battle to push the ssd in place (not normal) if you’re lucky and reads the ssd, it will shut off on and off. Or don’t read the drive at all. I returned mine the same day.

Okay so first off, you need to make sure you're using a SATA M.2 Drive, NOT an NVME M.2 Drive. There's a big difference here but basically make sure the drive has 2 notches in the connecter side, and not just one. You're not going to get NVME speeds, but SATA speeds are still respectable and you'll save money with SATA prices. At full 4K highest quality in my BMPCC4K I still had no dropped frames or recording issues.My only gripe is the ribbon connector. I had to use a dremel tool to cut a notch in my camera's media bay door so the ribbon could fit comfortably. And even then I worry about the ribbon connector rubbing on the plastic I cut. I reinforced that point with electrical tape, but it just feels flimsy. I'd like to see a thicker plastic or woven sheathing there. I'm fine cutting up the bay door if it means less danger to my data.

I have been using this setup with my Red Komodo with excellent results. Buying two was ideal as it allows me to shoot pretty much all day seemlessly.

Works great as a cheaper alternative for a cfast 2.0. Works flawlessly with the BMPCC4k and will be testing it out with the red Komodo soon.

the only negative is the cord gets damages when you close the Cfast door, might file down door a few mm to help.

It works, at first I was confused because the pins do not match the recommended SSD drive that was listed, I nearly returned my SSD thinking I had purchased the wrong one however I plugged it in just to check and triple checked the store page to make sure I hadn't made an error and low and behold it worked! Only used it twice but no dropped frames and it worked great. Cable is pretty wide and somewhat thick and on the CFast part is on the bottom which makes it much harder on my c200 to get the door closed.

Für die Nerds der Filmbrange ist das definitiv ein geiles Teil. Leider kann mann nur 1Tb Evo 860 rein tun, und ganz klar brauch mann dann auch einen Cfast lesegerät. Ich hoffe einfach dass sie blad eine Neue version rausbringen die auch mit 2-4 Tb läuft. Das wäre Wahnsinn

CFastカードが高すぎ。256で2万ですわ。でCfastスロットにダミーカードを入れてm.2SSDにデータを流すのがコレです。BMPCC4Kで使用中。m.2のSSDはnvme規格では使えません。m.2のSATA規格です。実質１Tが限界。速度は550MB/sかな？なので対応できるSSDはあまり種類が無いのですがとにかく安くできる。１TSSDでも1万ちょいでは？なので本商品と合わせても3万以下で１Tメディアが出来ます。ケーブルをスロットの外に出すので、その処理だけが難点。RoninでUSBリモコンを使う場合にはUSB外付けメディアが使えないのでこれしか選択肢ないんですよ・・CFastが複数あれば解決するけどね・・。というわけで、使えます。ケーブル断線して2本目買います。

Habe wie empfohlen eine 860 EVO eingebaut und sie funktioniert tadellos bei 4K60 und auch bei 6K30. Habe die Festplatte erst über USBC (aus der Kamera) am Mac auf exFat formatiert und dann nochmal in der Kamera (wurde bereits erkannt aber sicher ist sicher ;).So habe ich für Rund 230EUR eine 1TB CFast 2.0! Top!
