Bought this to add to my RO system so I can fill my humidifier up and now the minerals don't build up on the water plates. Found this on the net, Water that has been filtered by reverse osmosis, or RO Water, is a safe alternative for your CPAP machine. So if you have an RO and put this filter on last any minerals left will be removed saving trips to the store to pick up distilled water.

Before these, I had a set of regular 10 inch filter canisters with inserts that had to be filled with the resin. Such a mess to change resin when depleted! Not to mention taking up more space.To me, it's worth the cost to use these because they are easier to replace and take up far less space.

I use to make pure water for my Keurig coffee maker. The Keurig does not like minerals in water and will get a build up eventually. I get a TDS of aprox 4 ppm using these. Works great. Daily use of Keurig coffee maker without having to demineralize it for 3 years now. Good filter.

Excellent product, straightforward and easy to swap out of the RO/DI system. I am glad that these filter are refillable, and very happy to have a set of three to quickly swap out for frequent water changes.

I only get about 100 gallons of RO water per filter. Which is about 3 weeks of water changes on my aquariums.

I had the blue/gold medium before and went through them far faster than a RO ststem should.Still on my first of these, its taking some wear, but its already lasted at least twice as long as the blue color changing filters.

Very easy to setup, brings TDS to 0One suggestion, it would be nice to have possibility to be mounted to wall through appropriate holes in the holder and not only to other filter cartridges
