Love this study
This study is very easy to follow! The questions are not super deep or hard. I will say that if you do purchase the videos, Rachel is VERY animated. However, you do not need to watch the videos to do this study, which is nice!

Highly recommended
I’d have to say this is my favorite Bible study by far. God literally spoke to me through the pages of this Bible study & I was a little sad when I finished it. The study was actually enjoyable to do. The lessons & scripture kept me interested and shifted my perspectives in my own circumstances esp previously feeling like I was in a place of insignificance. Not only did I gain knowledge & learn a lot about the lives of these women in the Bible, I saw myself in the lessons. I love studies that aren’t just filled w/ info but cause me to examine myself & push me to apply what I’ve learned. I’d most likely reread this study & teach it. That’s how much I enjoyed it!!

Exceptional Women’s Bible study
This was by far one of the best written bible studies that I’ve done. Not only biblical but author did a superb job of applying it to our ordinary lives as well as keeping us longing to come back for the next week or study the next women. Enriching! Loved every bit of it.

Great perspective on biblical woman
I really enjoyed this bible study. At first glance, the lessons seemed longer then other bible studies. But instead of having a lot of busy work of looking up random verses, most (not all) verses are provided and are tied into the story/lesson that Rachel was telling. This is a very practical study and God used it to bring to light an attitude check in my life on a few family relationships. I Really liked the first 5 weeks, and sadly the 6th week left me a bit wanting. I think she tried to stretch the actual biblical text a bit to far to make a point. The point was good and biblical, but i didn't see it in the verses she used. but overall - this is one of my favorite bible study books i've done in the past few years. I am hoping that Rachel writes another bible study sometime soon!

Mediocre
I purchased this book off of the reviews but I’m a bit disappointed. This study is not really that. It’s a bit spoon-fed. Although, I realize that there are many that prefer the Scriptures are provided in the book studies, this one provides every one, including all references. They are also only provided in the NLT which is also not one that I would have used for any kind of serious study, daily reading perhaps but not an in-depth study. This book is anything but an in-depth study into this very worthy not within the genealogy of Matthew. For those wondering about the translation, NLT is a phrase for phrase translation meaning that meaning can indeed be lost within specific word phrases if we are studying exact interpretation. Any study would or should at least provide an alternative not to mention I encourage looking directly at the Scripture for context which is also lacking and not taken into consideration as well. This has led to some interesting if not unique conclusions on the part of the author for many of her study “days” commentary. The commentary does not appear to be well researched. There are no notes and I have found no other sources to back her interpretation of some of her conclusions. The questions presented were elementary at best and offered no real thought discussion beyond the basics of facts presented in the text itself. The book was easy to read and well edited and some of the stories interested although they were probably more than what was needed. She also chooses to add two patriarchal women into the study and leave out Mary. Both of these women are not in fact ever mentioned in Matthew’s genealogical list but a case for Mary could in fact be made. Other than stating that it’s an honor to be included, she gives no reason WHY any of the women she’s studying might be included in this list? This is in fact of HUGE theological significance that the author just plain misses?? This is just mediocre at best.
