Wholesome Kitchen Freekeh, Herb and Currant, 9 Ounce

Tends to burn easily whether or not you follow directions, use an old pot or let your pre-adolescent chef wanna be prepare this for dinner. Having specified some of the alternative preparation methods implemented by several of my family members, it's still almost foolproof 'cept for what gets charred at the bottom of the pot. No other complaints though. The end result is a nice toasty, nutty concoction that my family devours greedily and I end up buying almost every month.

I am soooo happy that I tried this stuff. I had never heard of it, but was surfing for high protein high fiber foods and this came up. It is perfect for high protein diets and only has a total of 5 NET carbs because of the high fiber content. I also realized after purchasing it that it meets the total daily requirements for my calcium and iron. What a perfect food!!!

Not my favorite flavor, but I love Freekeh. I also bought another flavor from this same company that tasted much better- but that's just my own personal preference. My husband did like this flavor, but preferred others. Easy to cook and so much healthier than rice (which nearly always contains arsenic and nowhere near the nutritional value as Freekeh). Would recommend trying a few flavors before buying this particular one if you're new to Freekeh..

We can't eat enough of the freekeh. fantastic favor. so healthy for you. Dr Oz loves this stuff to. I can't cook it enough or fast enough. Than you amazon for having so many different versions of this rice or grain. I have ordered all of the and no disappointment.

My daughter recently introduced me to Freekeh and I found it easy and fast to prepare, nourishing, reasonably priced, and is a good side to any meal or a vegetarian entrée.

A friend recommended purchasing this hard to find item on Amazon. I was very excited to try it today, but disappointed when I discovered the best by date was in October! Though probably safe to eat, I find it sad that this information was not conveyed in the item description when I bought it just last month

I love this stuff! I found my self eating bits right out of the container. Great addition to Alfredo sauce, salad dressing, soups, scrambled eggs, etc. Nom nom nom!!!! Some of the mushrooms are big so I just crumble them.
