Inherited 1 when bought boat and worked like it was supposed to until the bottom rusted outso this is a replacementabit pricier than what can be bought on their website but got it alot quicker

I have had 3 of these. Nothing lasts forever, especially around water and as often as we use ours. The new version has better heat control. Nothing like cooking out on the boat on a nice summer evening. I like the way it hangs out over the water so nothing drips on your deck. Just be careful turning food and don't flip a steak into the lake like I did the first time I used my first one. My fault, not theirs.

Always have. Had an issue with the igniter, but Magma sent a replacement immediately! One year leather and still working perfect!

The on off know is difficult to read as far as high and low. The symbol on it means nothing in English. They might want to try High and Low. So the flame can be controlled better.

Fist.. there is a redesign of the burner/pot stand inside. The old units had a slightly turned up foot so that it positively engages the crease on the side of the pan. The new units have a straight foot with a rounded off tip, this means when you put a pot on the bracket it is literally balanced on a piece of metal. The slightest move and the assembly just seems to fall into the burner. I called the manufacturer to make sure I was installing this correctly, because even just sitting here I couldn’t get it to balance, much less on a boat. I was told it was correct, and the manufacture pretty much told me to piss off.I decided to keep it and give it a whirl so I Installed it with the rod mount kit and the lower bracket just won’t stay. The grill just falls over on the mount.. it’s pretty much useless

We really like the grill. We use it a lot on the boat. Little pricey after you buy the grill, leg for the back of boat and carry bag. Happy so far.

We love this grill expensive but worth it.food turns out great even heat lots of grill space easy to set up and remove

I do want to advise that I bought a stainless steel coffee pot percolator and after an hour on the Magma, it did not percolate. If you are boating you will have to buy a small burner that will strictly make coffee.
