This brush works exactly how I’d hoped. The bristles are long which helps with flexibility, but stiff enough to do the job without damaging the mushrooms. It’s very easy to clean the bristles with a little bit of dish soap. It might be a little small for those with larger hands, but it works great!

I found that it did a very good job of cleaning mushrooms which was my reason for the purchase. The quality of the wooden top was somewhat poor and required many applications of oil because it was so porous.

I've wanted a mushroom brush for years and finally opted for this product. It does what it is designed to de and does it well. Others have complained that the wood might become "rough" after a washing. Bear in mind that the wood handle has not been treated in any way and the wood fibers will swell a bit when immersed in water. To minimize that swelling I treated the handle only (not the bristles) with some MINERAL OIL applied with a bit of paper towel. Vegetable or olive oil should not be used as they may turn rancid and gummy with time.

The bristles were stiff enough to really clean the mushrooms--without ripping them open at the stem.Also, the size and shape where easy to handle...

While this might work if you only ever eat basic button mushrooms, most mushrooms (especially foraged mushrooms that actually need a good cleaning) are going to be torn apart by one of these. The bristles are way too firm. Far from the similarly designed brushes I've had in the past with extremely soft bristles.Leaving 2 stars because I can use it to clean under my nails pretty well.

I use this to clean my face as an exfoliant brush. My husbands grandma has been using a mushroom brush on her face for years and she has magnificent skin. Been doing the same for awhile and love the way it makes my skin look and fill.

I hate soggy mushrooms and by fiancé is convinced all the brown needs to come off mush so this is perfect!! I took one star because I wish the wood part was coated with something more waterproof - it is already a little tough

I bought this based on others’ reviews, and I am happy I did! This brush is incredible with fresh mushrooms...just firm enough to clean the funk off, but soft enough to not rip the mushrooms apart at all. Love! 🍄

Spent many years resisting the idea of buying a mushroom brush. I would wipe the mushrooms with a damp towel or - horrors - actually wash them in the sink. I finally capitulated and chose to order this one as I have found the brand to be reliable. Also liked the wooden top and general aesthetics.I’m delighted with the product. Yesterday I powered through several pounds of mushrooms and found this tool worked perfectly; the bristles are exactly firm enough to eliminate the compost without tearing into the mushroom. And the brush fits very comfortably in the hand.

É uma escovinha bem pequenina, as cerdas não são macias e nem duras, comprei sem ler muito e achei que era uma escova pra legumes com o formato de cogumelos, mas é uma escova realmente pra lavar cogumelos. Enfim, avaliei bem porque a culpa foi minha mesmo e ainda não usei em cogumelos.

Bought a second one of these little mushroom brushes - we use it for everything. It arrived and the packaged was clearly destroyed. Looked like it was returned and sent to me as a new item. Not acceptable. Sent it back!

excellent mushroom brush. perfectly cleans the mushrooms after which the brush can be easily cleaned with just a few drops of dish detergent. and it is attractive on the windowsill.

Very gentle on mushrooms. Works really well. Would buy again but they have dramatically increased the price.
