The flavor of this yukari is insane. I use it for a cocktail topper and it’s a true winner. It is salty but earthy and super flavorful. The purple color bleeds into liquid too. Great product.

This is a tiny bag. Find better option elsewhere. $8 for this size bag is a crime.

I had this in rice balls once while traveling and set out on a multi year quest to find this ingredient! Red shiso leaves are simply chef’s kiss delicious on plain white rice and I use it generously.

Good product, mixen in warm sushi rice and make a rice ball take a piece of dry see seed to hold in the hand and just eat, cold taste better and bit soy sauce make everything nicely.

A bit expensive to me after living in Japan but it's understandable.
