Better Built67011386 ATV Tool Box

Hard time finding small boxes. Put two on my rv bumper, one on each side of the spare tire. My dump hose fits perfect in one and water hoses in the other.Wish the locks were a key that could be removed when unlocked. But small inconvenience for what I was needing.

not the best quality control, first box was warped pretty bad returned it for a new one and it was better but still a little warped. looks like a decent box but could be better for the price

This box is mounted on my utility trailer to house battery cables for my Superwinch UT3000, the controller for the winch, wheel chocks and a couple spare ratchet straps for if the trailer is borrowed I don't send along my good ones. The seal does keep water out and it is a good box for its purpose. Mine didn't have and side handles as pictured, but I really won't need them. However, I do have a few small issues with it. My biggest problem is the latch adjustment. I have it adjusted as far as it will go to the one side, but if it would need to be adjusted more, I would have to make modifications. The latch itself has a very positive feel. Not far behind first place is the lock. It isn't very smooth and the key doesn't fit that well. I will see how it goes, but I may make a new latch lock and use a Master Lock for that. The last issue I have is quality. I have Better Built toolboxes for pickup trucks that are 10-15 years old that used a much thicker gauge material. This box, it is rather thin. When you open the cover, you can watch the hinge flex the back wall of the box.Overall, it will serve its purpose to hold what I need it to. I wasn't about to spend WeatherGuard dollars for something on a utility trailer.

The box is great however the posted exterior dimensions are wrong. I had a half inch more than it said it was as I was mounting under a seat in a sxs so it was actually too tall to fit. Posted dimensions must be with lid open but they are listed as external dimensions so a little misleading

The media could not be loaded.  I have purchased better built boxes in the past and been satisfied with the quality. They should have scrapped this one. The seam welds were not polished, heavy frosting on the surrounding material. The box itself is not square, off 3/8 of a inch on the diagonal. The lid strut mount still had soot on it from the welding process. But the lid is square. If this box had been in a scratch and dent sale $30 tops!

Nice box, like gas strut and built in lock. The box is lightweight and looks good. The welds could be better. You can see through pin sized holes in welds in a couple of spots. Not too big a deal but for the price I would expect better. Overall I like the storage box.

Purchased this for a small box to be mounted on a Kendon standup motorcycle trailer to hold a jack, straps, and such. It did the trick, and diamond plate matched my trailer great. It was the dimensions as described. The quality is not top notch and diamond plate is pretty thin. Mine had inconsistent gaps around where the lid closed, but it did latch, open and close ok. It will serve my purposes. The picture is not representative on the box I received. Firstly, you can tell the picture is a longer box, and also mine did not have side handles.

Used for battery box.Gas strut was in way, so I moved to right side. Actually takes away from the interior height being right in the middle, no need for it to be there, imo.Pretty thin so you don’t want to be standing or sitting on it. Great for what I needed it for, aside from that darned strut!

The box is usable but I had to fix and realign the locking mechanism. Welds are OK but certainly could be better similar to welds when I was learning how to weld aluminum. It will work for the purpose that I bought it for.

Good product. I had to return it because it did'nt fit my travel trailer front end. You need to be aware that it needs two more inch of clearance on the back to open. Seems like a very good and cheap reliable box.
