I could buy a bunch of these and still save money off the name brand. You can replace the coil and module with better ones if yours fail, I had the module fail and was able to just swap it out for a parts store one. When I let them know of the failure they sent out a whole new unit for parts.

Actually used this on a 1994 wrangler 6 cyl that had an issue with the computer. Still using the fuel injection. Just tap the tach to the distributor , run the distributor off a relay that works from the key and only thing didn't work was the shift light.

It was a little tight fitting in the hole but works great. Doesn't come with power and tach plug

works as it should. installed in a jeep that hadn't run in almost 20 years. new fuel and fired right up.

I was getting my old CJ-5 ready for the spring, and thought about a tune-up on the HEI. The cost of the components (module, cap, rotor, coil, etc) is only slightly less then the cost of the whole distributor.So I bought the whole thing. This one.Old one popped out, and new one popped right in. Timed easy, and the advance curve seems spot on. Works perfectly. For those who are replacing a motorcraft, or pretolite ignition, it is pretty easy, but you have to pay attention to the wiring

Installation was quick and EZ. My Jeep never ran better! Shipped fast, and packaged well. Note: There are no instructions with this, but there are tons of videos and articles online explaining how to install properly. Buy with confidence!

cap and rotor was a little cheap looking and feeling but distributor itself was high quality in my opinion. Incredible first fire up blew me away timed perfectly even with my gummed up old carb.Overall great for the price have taken the jeep out multiple times and runs better than ever.

The unit is pretty solid, doesnt feel cheaply made. Set as 4 stars based on description only. Says its ready to install but without a mounting gasket, its not really ready to just install. Im not sure if it just does come with one or mine was missing. It doesnt mention anything about the gasket in the description.
