Kingston DataTraveler 64GB Review
It is as fast as a hard drive saving 10ish GB of large files. Any more and part of the way through saving it slows down and the speed goes up and down. If you pause the file copy and wait 30 seconds and un-pause the speed comes back up. I bought this because I tried to install Windows off my old 8 GB thumb drives. It took eons to create the Windows installer on either of them and then I couldn't boot off either to start the install. I had one of these Kingston drives as 64 GB. It was much faster putting Windows setup on it and it booted fine. I installed Linux Mint live on it using Balena Etcher and that was a fast install. So I bought 3 and chucked my old ones. I put Windows 11 to Go on the new Kingston I just got using Rufus and it took 5 hours for it to finish in a USB3 port. It was copying an endless number of very small Microsoft files to the drive slow enough to read each name as they finished. In Device Manager, Windows had the "quick removal" setting by default on it, so I changed it to "better performance." This was while Windows was 91% copied over and it said it had to reboot to take effect so I didn't reboot. I can't say how much it would have helped speed the drive up to enable this at this point, but it would be a good idea to do it as soon as you plug in any new drive Windows hasn't seen before. The DataTraveler I had before I ordered these and looks to be identical already had this performance setting enabled and it created the Windows 10 bootable install reasonably fast. Also, I have touched these drives while saving to them and they run very cool. I never saw a light blinking out of it while saving stuff.

Good Thin USB
Never had any trouble with this brand USB Works well and goes into the USB slot easily. It has a thin profile, and for all Playstation fans and users this is a must; as you know Playstation does not allow for USB with extra casing around it as it will not go into the front end USB slot, you have to slide your Playstation out and plug the USB into the back end. However; using this USB I just easily slide it right into the front slot.

Verified genuine article!
Verified genuine! I contacted Kingston support with a photo of the flash drive, specifically of the side with the markings on it, and they verified it was genuine. I have purchased these or similar ones from other merchants on Amazon, and they failed that test, instead. Not these ones, though!

Pretty great so far
I've been a fan of the earlier, tiny, Data Traveler USB drives. I carry one full of movies and such in my billfold, in case I get stranded somewhere and am in need -- well, want -- of entertainment. The earlier ones were beautifully made and in my experience fully reliable. Additionally, the originals and the ones described here are the only USB sticks I know of that will fit the overly crowded connector panel of TCL televisions. This model seems slightly less well built, certainly less attractive, with a seam down the middle of the back side. So far, though, this has had no effect on reliability. They're still tiny and capacious, and I wish they were available in higher capacities. Data have swollen!

A helpful and useful tool
I used to stress a lot because i would have so much on my computer and i would run out of storage and i didn't know where to save certain files that i didn't want to lose, before you know it all i would see is storage too full however this device came in handy i was able to store a few files in it and all of sudden i had more storage in my computer. What i also enjoy about it its slim, easy to store and whenever i need it all i have to do is plug it into my computer and everything shows up.

Metal frame, key clip, size, works
This is NOT a tiny USB. I wanted something solid, easy to handle, and which fits my portability needs (I use either a key pouch or a small key ring). Typical USB 3.2 so its about as fast as your going to get. While I have no need for a USB with this much capacity you may need more (say for storing a video library). Chose wisely. I bought 2 for data backups and transfers between computers. These are not the cheapest, but Kingston has worked for me in the past. I hope that continues.
