Room Doctor Storage Solid Wood - 4 Drawer Nightstand - Ships Fully Assembled - Super Strong- Chemical Free

This is an unfinished solid pine nightstand with four drawers from Room Doctor. Solid workmanship and design, very strong, very plain. That's what we wanted, and that's why we ordered this brand name.Earlier we bought a Room Doctor bedframe in this same pine (gave it 5 stars), and we love the it. We left it unfinished. The nightstand wood has a lot more grain and we decided to stain it, since it's in a different room. It drank up the stain and it looks quite stately. We give this piece 4 stars, because in the interior of one drawer the front panel is split for a couple of inches in two places where the screws from the side panels hit the front panel. One split is from the bottom screws on the right; the other much larger split is from the upper screw on the left. At first we thought it must have happened in shipping, but now that we follow the path of the screws we believe it is a manufacturing defect.Just the same, this kind of four drawer nightstand gives so much more drawer space than one the same height with legs. It was a very good value (unless we're unable to glue those torn pieces of wood down). We expect to glue and clamp and hope the sharp wood pieces can be held down.

Good solid nightstand. When it was shipped it was evidently slightly damaged on the bottom drawer. My husband was able to fix it and we are using it without problems. I am using it as a vanity drawer to hold makeup, etc. Works well.

The chest of drawers arrived with two front top corners dinged up and bottom front panel broken. I repaired the front with glue and sanded the top so the dings were gone. Also, the drawers didn't slide well, so I bought rollers,(drawer glides) and installed them before sanding entire unit and staining. Then I used a spray clear Minwax finish and it looks pretty good.If used in the condition it arrived, it would have been better suited as firewood than a nightstand.

you get what you pay for. I am having a fellow put in glides for the drawers..otherwise not really usable.

Bought these for my facility last year and I purchased 8 of them. They get tons of use daily and have held up just fine. I'm back to purchase 7 more!

Very Happy with the nightstand. I stained it with an all natural product and it's great. Hard to believe that it's so inexpensive considering the quality.

It looks good in the photo...but what a mess..the wood splintered on back. Front drawer was warped. All you can say is that it's solid wood. Would of sent it back but for the cost. Don't waste your money

Well built and easy to finish yourself. Like the company and will probably order more furniture in the near future.
