Works as expected

I use this to turn on my hot water re-circulating pump before showering. I mounted the remote on the wall of my bathroom and the receiver is in my garage only 12 feet away. I had to use an extension cord to place the receive on the near side of the water heater because it seemed the heater blocked the signal if I put the receiver on the other side of the water heater where the outlet is. I also found out that if I stood between the remote and the receiver, I sometimes blocked the signal and the pump didn't turn on. After I made these adjustments the remote works like a charm and I have instant hot water when I want it.

Upon receipt did’t work, although remote red light came on. After installing a new battery , the red light was much brighter , and now unit works great. Works thru two plaster walls, and from 30 ft away. If your unit stops working, replace the cr2032 battery…around $3 at Walmart. 4 stars due to battery fail upon receipt.

The media could not be loaded. The timer outlet is functioning well. I tested it twice for 2 hours and it shut down automatically. The remote control has a button battery included already which has a strip when I opened so that it won't be discharged until you remove it.

I could not get this to even work 10 ft away through one wall. I wanted it to turn on a recirculation pump for hot water in the shower. Not good range at all. It did work with line of site. I did not test how far the line of site worked since that was not my need.

Plug and use. Used for a TV that had too many steps to get to the sleep timer. THis made it easy.

This is NOT a timer that comes on and off every day at the same time. That being said it is absolutely perfect for small appliances that one forgets to turn off -- like my electric rollers. I can turn it on for a 30 minute period and it will turn itself off after that. Given that I have "burned out" two sets of electric rollers in 8 months or so because I left them on for 24 hours or so this is a GREAT product for absentminded people....or just for convenience!

It works as intended, but lacks a couple key features. The simplest of all should be an audible, beep or some thing when you press the buttons you have no idea if you actually put the timer on for 30 minutes because there’s nothing that flashes on the remote or beeps to let you know that it registered there’s been a number of times that you think you activated the timer for 60 minutes or so but it never goes off because it didn’t register the input
