Very nice, durable hammock. I really like this hammock and we put it through its paces too. I have a hammock stand that's usually outside, but I brought it in for the winter. I set this hammock up and, for about 2 hours, my daughters pretended that they were on a ship in a bad storm and bounced all over the place. This hammock held up seriously well with not a single stitch out of place. I have no doubt that 2 normal, relaxing adults will find this very comfortable. I really like the bag it comes in--the whole hammock scrunches down into a very small bag that would easily fit in a back pack. Also, the bag is actually sewn onto the side of the hammock (just like in the picture) so its up out of the mud and won't be lost. Overall, if you're into hammocks, this is a good one.Have to mention that this product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. However, I never give something a good/great review based on that. It has to be a good product before I will recommend it.

It's winter in Minnesota, so I hooked up my new Castle Peak camping hammock in my basement. I have two sturdy support posts downstairs about the right distance apart, so why not try it out ? Wow, this hammock is big. It has a nice feel and seems extremely sturdy and durable. I chose the red one instead of the black one so it doesn't get too hot in the summer sun and, if I get lost somewhere, they might find me with this bright red beacon. There is room for two in an intimate way ...and I wish I had bedposts I could hook this up to until the weather warms up around here. This is a very nice looking hammock and the whole thing packs into a tiny lightweight bag about the size of a football, so for backpacking, this is hammock is ideal. I bet this could double as a tent if you stretched it over a stick frame of some kind. It's really comfortable to lounge in and is helping me overcome my cabin fever just laying in it. I ordered a pair of inexpensive tree straps for this sling bed in case I need to connect to some large trees. I can hardly wait to use this outdoors this summer.Overall I highly recommend this double size Castle Peak camping hammock. I received this hammock at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

I purchase hammocks annually it seems. I buy them but they never make it through the season, so I had hoped for a durable quality item. The parachute fabric is lightweight and feels sturdy, the seams between the panels are triple stitched/three needle serge which is awesome. I did take away one star for the actual outer edge hem being single stitched, I don't see that hem holding up for more than a couple of seasons. I may run it through the serger myself (simple two thread overlock). The "everything included" statement means two pieces of rope, not tree straps. Bonus: it is nice rope and carabiners are already attached to the hammock. This is not usually included with purchase. Bottom line, I am satisfied with the value and durability of hammock, we hung it on the balcony and tested the weight limit(two people and a dog) for an afternoon nap. I will be buying tree straps for simplicity's sake but I am pleased with this hammock. I did receive this item at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review. If it was biased I would not have mentioned the disappointing hem or straps.

Wow Wow Wow! I love this hammock! Big and comfy perfect for a day at the beach or out camping or even in the yard! When i first got it, which arrived on time, I was skeptical of the strength of the material, but I kept in in my truck till I got to the beach a few days later and set it up between two trees and when I tested it out it not only held me (6'0" 225lbs) but my wife and I where able to relax in it at the same time. Ill never leave it at home! The stitching is well done and is very reliable. It comes with a very convenient carry bag attached to it so all you have to do is roll it up, put it in the bag and tighten the drawstring. When packed in the bag, its about the size of a pineapple and comes with a click lock adjustable secure strap perfect for attaching to a hiking back pack.I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review, and I can say I would recommend it very highly if you are in the market for an awesome compact hammock.
